Minimally Invasive Techniques for GBR Procedures by Dr. Frederic Kauffmann
Various bone augmentation procedures in combination with different bone grafts exist. Results, as well as patient morbidity, varies in between the techniques as well as use of bone graft of harvesting site.
Autologous bone grafts show good results with higher patient morbidity, while bone blocks show better graft stability than particulate grafts.
In this lecture, modern bone grafting procedures will show leading to comparable results, but less patient morbidity.

Dr. Frederic Kauffmann
Dr. Kauffmann received his dental degree from Würzburg University, Germany in 2010 He had completed his postgraduate training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in Würzburg, Department of Periodontology (Chair: Prof. Schlagenhauf, Prof. Fickl), Germany in 2017. 2018 to 2020 he was ITI Scholar as well as Clinical lecturer at the Department of Peridontology (Chair: Dr. William Giannobile) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, United States. His research focus on different collagen membranes as well as the simplification of bone augmentation procedures.
