Field Applications Scientist @Omega Bio-tek
Evan Wolfson is a Field Applications Scientist (FAS) at Omega Bio-tek, Inc, providing custom scripting solutions and automation integration for the Eastern United States and Canada. Evan has experience in quality systems and data management from working in the Quality Control branch of the Influenza Division at the CDC. Here, he was the validation engineer and equipment manager for the development of a novel automation workflow for serological data collection and surveillance. Following the CDC opportunity, he worked at Tecan as a Field Applications Engineer in the southeast United States, where he learned advanced scripting and workflow concepts that covered numerous laboratory techniques and solutions. With Omega, he has integrated into his role as a FAS using prior experiences to assist labs in need of customized automation solutions for nucleic acid purification on a variety of liquid handlers including Thermo Fisher Scientific's KingFisher® line of instruments.

Sales & Marketing Director @Omega Bio-tek
Rose Wamback operates as Omega Bio-tek’s Sales & Marketing Director, leading the Omega Bio-tek sales and marketing teams to create and implement strategies to promote Omega Bio-tek's position at the forefront of nucleic acid isolation. Rose obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry minor from Middle Tennessee State University. In 2010, Rose joined the Omega Bio-tek team as an Account Representative, utilizing her scientific background to support researchers’ needs for reliable nucleic acid purification kits. In her current role as Sales & Marketing Director, Rose uses her leadership and scientific expertise to coach and mentor the Omega Bio-tek sales and marketing teams in a collective effort to strategically position the company and its products for successful implementation in laboratories worldwide.
