Betty Wong Ortiz
Betty Wong Ortiz has helped millions of readers get healthy and live well throughout much of her career. Most recently, she was Director of Content at digital pharmacy startup Blink Health. Before pivoting into marketing roles at startups, Betty led editorial teams at major consumer lifestyle publications including Parents, Family Circle, Fitness, Shape, Bon Appetit, and Runner’s World, where she was the title’s first female editor-in-chief in its 51-year history. Betty has spent much of her career covering health, nutrition, and fitness and is a 6-time marathoner. She, her husband, and their two teenage kids live in Forest Hills, Queens, where she enjoys running—solo and at least a six-foot distance from anyone else for the time being.
