Join us as the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute hosts Ambassador Charles Ray in conversation with Institute Director John Shaw. The conversation will focus on Ambassador Ray's observations on the challenges of military service and diplomacy and his views on America's efforts to become a more inclusive society.
Ray's remarkable half century career in public service for the United States includes twenty years as a U.S. Army office and thirty years at the State Department culminating in ambassadorships to Cambodia and Zimbabwe. He has written dozens of fiction and non-fiction books including a memoir, "Things I Learned from My Grandmother About Leadership and Life."
This program is part of a virtual series of conversations sponsored by the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute with policy experts, political analysts, and government and private sector leaders.
