Daniel Goleman presents: Emotional Intelligence in the Challenging Times of a Pandemic - FREE VIRTUAL EVENT
illuminate Speaker Series brought to you by Hospice of Santa Barbara presents: Daniel Goleman on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm PDT. This is FREE and open to the community, but registration is required for each event.

No one has been left untouched by the effects of living during a global pandemic. While we have navigated this time to remain safe, there is a burgeoning concern for the short and long-term ramifications that distance and isolation will have on us all. As we reach the other side of the pandemic, how can we prepare ourselves to adapt and flourish? In this free presentation, Daniel Goleman, the leading authority on emotional psychology, will discuss why emotional intelligence is needed now more than ever and ultimately, how we can prepare ourselves and relearn critical social skills as we slowly make it out of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Since 1974, HSB, a local nonprofit located in Santa Barbara, CA, has been providing compassionate care and support free of charge “to care for anyone experiencing the impact of a life-threatening illness or grieving the death of a loved one” in our community.
