Great presentation. Thanks. My question is regarding individuals who are neither U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Which people who are living in the U.S. on visas, such as student or business, etc. visas, are included in the census?

Thanks for the question! ALL people, regardless of citizenship status, can be counted in the census. Someone will respond with more info shortly!

Question: I live in a retirement community. Will each household/apartment get a form or will it be done for the whole community?
Answer: Assisted living usually falls under quarters and the manager will provide one count. “independent care” facilities typically are individual households.

Question: Does college dorms require each student to respond? How does the "household" apply?
Answer: College dorms are “group quarters” and will be one count provided by the university

HI Marilyn, yes, those individuals should be counted and list their usual residence where they live and sleep most of the time as their household.
