I can't really network as the people I know are my current customers, they'll wonder why I'm leaving the company (like what's wrong with the company that they just contracted with).

any advice for those who are already in a role that normally requires more “years of experience” than they personally have for transitioning to their next role? I’m ready to grow & it now seems an obstacle that I got this role with less than the standard years

Any thoughts on a fancy resume design? I used an Etsy template to make a very nice looking resume, that has some style and includes my picture. I seem to be getting good results with it, but are there occasions where it ever works against you? (I’ve read conflicting articles on the interwebs)
Leily Khatibi

Should projects done in grad school be included in the education section of my resume or related classes to the job I’m applying for, or both? thanks.

I'm attending this webinar to help my mom who has been a business owner for many years (25 years of an interior furnishings/custom window treatments) but now wants to switch gears into something that could use her business-minded skills but she may not have experience in the exact industry she's looking for. The switch is motivated by more certainty and being able to carve off some of the work of owning a business that she's not very interested in anymore. How can she create the narrative for herself that makes sense and is compelling to businesses? She's in her mid-50s if that's helpful.
Tonya Makowski

Tonya Makowski
52:12
How to present the double job I’ve held on my resume when applying to a role that is focused on one role. It sounds like two resumes is good. Should I list responsibilities, etc. for both roles under one “position” on LinkedIn?
Tonya Makowski
