Tricia, Some are unable to get into the webinar, because max allowed is set at 100. They are locked out.

01:00:01
Bob Jackson, can you be an Administrator and ESOL Coordinator.

01:01:26
Bob Jackson, Thank you!!

01:01:27
On istation, will it be separate pieces of evidence like with ACT Aspire? For example, can Tier I in Literacy and Tier I in Math be TWO pieces of evidence?

01:01:51
Do you need to send notifications for M2-M4? I am assuming yes just wanting confirmation...

01:01:54
Do 9 week grades count as evidence?

01:02:36
every year of monitoring must have 2 additional pieces of data?

01:02:47
Can the three people in the LPAC be the mainstream teacher, counselor, and ESOL designee

01:03:51
can teacher input be used for monitoring? We used forms that teachers complete

01:04:07
must all exits be based on same measure or are we allowed to pull from a collection of designated asessments/evidences?

01:04:57
If a student scores proficient on ELPA21 but does not have sufficient evidence to support exiting, do they need to take the ELPA21 again in the following year?

01:05:13
Basically, any evidence should be "standardarized"; that's why 9-week grades shouldn't be used. Teacher input probably isn't standardized (against a rubric), so Tricia would need to sign off on it first.

01:06:17
Davisg - each student must have 2 pieces of evidence in addition to the ELPA21 proficient determination; the pieces of evidence do not have to be the same for each student.

01:06:43
Do annual reviews need to take place at the same time every year?

01:07:07
Elizabeth Mehlin - the students will take the ELPA21 each year until they meet the exit criteria in total.

01:07:45
For example, the previous ESOL Coordinator for my district held annual reviews in May, but I would like to hold them in the beginning of the school year.

01:07:58
Is it possible to find the status of a ELL student who transfers into your district? Districts are not sending that information when we request records and the information in eSchool does not roll over as far as I understand.

01:08:22
must the supporting evidences be from the current year?

01:08:44
Can Dibels be used as evidence?

01:08:44
Will these questions/answers be included in the archive?

01:09:14
What do you recommend for exiting 12th graders?

01:10:07
If we exit a student now, they become M1. Would we then move them to M2 this time next year?

01:11:32
Previously students had to have all 5 on the ELPA21 but now 4 and 5 is proficient. Do students with 4’s who are proficient have to take the ELPA21 again?

01:13:28
nlassen - ELPA21 has always used all 4s, a combination of 4s & 5s, or all 5s to equal "proficient". You'd thinking of ELDA. Any student who is "proficient" on ELPA21 will not take ELPA21 again if they exit ESL service.
