Shared Vision Community Partnership Grants for Out-of-School Time Programs - Shared screen with speaker view
FYI: All viewers have their microphones muted.
Can funds be granted to a Friend's group, or directly to the partner?
Is there a funding range you have in mind for the average project?
Aside from these three funding opportunities, will State Library still offer LSTA 1-yr. grant opportunities?
Can these funds be used for existing programs, or do you prefer us to start new programs?
(I'm most interested in the $25-$75K range, to support systemwide afterschool support for 12-24 mos)
Can funding be used to hire staff to help implement/maintain a project?
could the funding be for technology that is multiuse but can be used with the help of a partner?
Does out of school time programs apply to summer reading challenge efforts?
Could funds be used to grant "awards/scholarships/stipends" to youth who participate/complete activities?
or perhaps for equipment for students--like a table?
Would the grant require minor construction costs, or are minor construction costs optional?
Kelly Van Valkenburg
Can several different types of programs be included within the grant?
Could the fund be used to pay for a code club training subscription?
Will we be able to ask questions past today's webinar?
Have there been preliminary discussions with state workforce board about this funding and potential partnership w/ libraries?
Can the partner be a commercial organization?
Will there be more information at a CLA session?
just to clarify--K-12 is the age limit?
to apply, do we need the written agreements in hand or only have identified who we would like to have agreements with?
