I like the use of 'institute' vs the more normal 'academy' or 'university'. feels premium, special

i think many people rely on google searches for new stuff, and searching the inbox or a shared drive for stuff they think already exists internally
Stephen Walsh
01:05:35
agreed Toby. you need to be more focused than going to Google.
Toby Harris
01:06:54
also - asking people to find stuff for you, but that slows you down slows them down and doesn't necessarily lead to anything better than google it (the other person googles it too!)

A great webinar guys! MCI is an excellent example of modern L&D
Stephen Walsh
01:14:37
Great case study - well done guys. Reflecting on the salesperson Blockchain scenario: I guess key is ensuring there is relevant content for every persona, every need they may have, and ensuring it stays up to date. Automated feeds of relevant external / internal content that match to real-time queries seem a key part of this. Thoughts on that?

Not exactly gamification, but one thing we think about is how learners can keep track of what they learn and the skills they build. I think this would be motivating (we can test that of course) and from Filtered’s perspective, we get data to validate our assumptions about which skills content builds...

(Btw nice presentation Avinash, Rob, James, really interesting journey, thank you!)
Stephen Walsh
01:17:28
yep. I like what Jane Hart calls this - L&D can become a content concierge - keep bringing the best content to people, use machines to support this and humans to discern

Great question from Stephen and great answer from Avinash. I think putting magpie recommendations in Teams will invite a need for fresher, more realtime content and we should keep talking about AndersPink / magpie :) :)
Stephen Walsh
01:18:00
for sure Toby :-)
