question: material bias?
or maternal bias?
Are there some women with more “male” brains? Just thinking of personalities in my workplace...
Yes, there are some women who were raised in more male-oriented ways, more empowered. Society does work to break them, but home environment can impact that. I’m not 100% certain about the biology, but I wager that’s true. After all hormones vary.
For example, I know a woman born without ovaries. She has zero reticence. Totally assertive. Yet, she was also raised in a supportive household that encouraged her to be gregarious.
“Utilize the pause”- love that.
the Pause - it worked for me
That’s a good tip too, I always used to give a range, but it makes sense that the more specific, the better.
Can we revisit the slide(s) on communication style?
Yes, please, it would be great to revisit the three styles
can you go into a little more detail about body language during negotiations?
I don’t see the questions that Kristen is answering. Is there a third space other than Everyone and All Panelists?
I think she’s only looking at the Q&A box, not the chat box (where we are right now)
Kristen: What do you do if you asked and got a “no”?
my settings keep jumping from panelists and attendees to just panelists
that might be why all of the questions arent being seen
I can’t see anything in Q & A
Q&A won’t show up for attendees unless she indicates she’s answered the question
That was a fantastic way to handle the question!
Thank you so much!

This was awesome. Thanks!
I learned so much! Thanks, Kristen!
