Welcome everyone! We’ll be using this chat feature for Q&A. Let me know where in the world you are dialing in from!
Hi, dialing in from France
Welcome everyone! Sophie here from Tech Ladies :) Please enjoy!
I’ve had jobs that penalized employers for asking for raises when they’re given more responsibilities
not wanting to ‘make trouble”
I’m at a start-up so I’m waiting for the next investment round
feeling like i don’t have enough experience in my current role to demand market rate
imposter syndrome, am I doing enough?
If it’s going to come out rude or greedy and being unsure around if I will be heard and not be judged.
Telling myself to wait for the next promotion round.
lowballed during initial offer and didn't know if I can ask for huge raise
Not sure I deserve what I negotiate for
Not sure how to raise the issue of knowing you’re paid less than coworkers?
Sometimes not having a proper structure around reviews makes it harder to get a good answer for “what more do I need to get a raise” what are your thoughts about that?
What do you think about using another job offer to leverage a raise discussion?
How do you use market research when you have an unconventional title/a position that was designed for you?
I guess I am not clear if we should reach out to random recruiters (may be on linkedin) or within our own company?
What do you think about starting conversations with your friends, peers, and even fellow colleagues around pay and salary?
What should I do, if my colleagues are paid more than me for the same position. If I know their salaries can I put hit on the table and how ?
This has been an amazing webinar. Such great information all under 1 hour! I’m learning a lot! Thank you.
How can we ask for gender equity especially to get a promotion t a higher position?
Thank you so much Ashley. Your session was truly insightful and bang on!
Can we go with a colleague to negotiate our both salaries ?
If we change sector, how can we ensure not getting paid less (lack experience in THAT sector)
Thank you!! <3
