What grades will you be doing QPR with? And will you do QPR along with the SOS/DPI cirriculums?
Can you explain who conducts the risk assessments in the school and how students are identified to be "assessed?" you may have mentioned this but I missed it?
How do you decide which students receive the risk assessments?
"Return to learn Is the faciltiy that the student is being discharged from part of the team that works with the return to learn plan
The support plan looks like a safety plan but it doesn't seem to include what the student can do for him/herself.
how involved do the parents have to be in the plan
Sheboygan County DPH
Is there communication with the primary health care provider?
Never mind; I was looking at the copy of the support plan provided and it does include self-coping/calming skills.
Is MPS undertaking any efforts to address stigma?
Making a re-entry plan for students across the board who are gone for a specifice time period helps with the stigma ie a student returning to school after a hopitalization related to diabetes
yes that is right
I did later; when I actually looked at the plan
The slide didn't include the coping skills piece.
You mentioned that you provide both ACT/SOS and QPR -- both are Gatekeeper trainings, correct? Is there any conflict or easy cross walk between the two?
Glad to hear you are beginning implementation of Honest, Open and Proud.
Thanks so much, Leah and MPS presenters!
