Will this be avaliable for download?
Yes. A link will be provided after the event
is there a manufacture date that you would recommned that we do not work on, for instance add a photo eyes
anyone else have no sound?
I have sound
You needed to choose audio
I can hear fine. CHeck your workstation audio settings.
workstation settings are fine. bummer. tks.
i had to choose audio then computer and not phone
Where do tilt up gates (parking garges) fit
To clarify - on a slider we now need a beam across the driveway, plus an edge or something like that. Does that count for both open and close? Or do we need two photo cells shooting each way and two edges, one on each side of the gate?
B2 or D2
What are the entrapment zones of a california style gate
Inherent Reverse Sensor can be counted as 1 (I believe)
on a swing gate at the column entrapment zone what is the max. that does not require a sensor for entrapment? is it 16" like a slide gate?
What about a BG790. the counter weight is a pinch point between the cabinet. Shound an edge be installed?
Would it be safe to assume that operators made after a certain date would have inherent safety device
Would you please forward the chart to all of us?
Graham - Entry Guard
are manufactures increasing their solar power output for these extra safety items?
What about the 15' mega Arms/Towers for the counterweight? Are the barrier gates still exempt? And when are all of these new specs go into effect
Mega Arms have IRD sensor
OK but how about on the counterweight tail of the 15' arms
would you need to put edges on both sides of those posts?
Is there ever a scenario where a a safety device is not needed on the trailing edge of slide gate
just move it 16" away from the gate
In that scenario, wouldn't the rear post become a draw-in post?
If a slide gate is solid, would we still need to put an edge on the support post? SAince hands can't get through it?
when will you send the link to download?
where do i find the 2.25" slide gate data you just referenced
If the gap between the slide gate and the draw-in post is closed to less than 2 1/4" we do n ot need a reversing edge on the post?
Zach you said you were recording this. Can you send out copies of it?
Please clarify the swing gate requirements under the 7th Edition of UL.
If I buy a new operator, is it going to come with all need protection devices to operate?
Would that be for a chain link gate as well?
Thanks for presenting this to all of us. We appreciate it.
how long will the post be up?
Does this webinar qualify for CEU's
Is there a 325 class or webinar for installers that gives us a full understanding???
Thanks Zach! Good info. Please forward the approved entrapment device list when you get it.
Perfect on the CEU's Thanks!
What about the gap bewteen the operator and the gate? Should an edge be installed on both sides of the operator?
Expamded metal mesh can be added to slide gates to comply with the 2 1/4" requirement.
Thank you very much!
