jcheng3n
25:32
how do you do the i played the game and i contributed to the class by?
Heather
30:21
I'm joining late, so apologies if this has already come up tonight--in which case, I'll just watch the recorded video for an answer: I see the merit of trackers, like the apple tree you mentioned in the video, but I always worry about low morale in the students who aren't performing as well and see those public trackers as a source of shame and just tune out or give up. Have you found ways of introducing trackers to the whole class that alleviates such negative effects? Can private trackers (kept in a student's notebook, etc.) have the same motivation as public ones?
Hellga
30:45
i raised my hand .... 😛
jcheng3n
32:09
our school struggles a lot with writing, how am I supposed to do free write?
jcheng3n
34:26
could you explain how you incorporate more reading in your classes?
Hellga
36:05
that means I want to add something. but I guess I can do it here in writing ... back to PQA: I struggle with not making it interesting enough and I struggled with special person ... so I was thinking maybe if I report to the class just like during special person, that may help ? !
jcheng3n

I'm looking for good langauge to set the tone to have the class as much as possible in Spanish. TPR is super great and an easy way - what about in levels 2 and 3 and on to really inspire to get kids to limit their english?
Kirshna
56:55
How do you remain sooooo calm during all these rough times?!
jcheng3n
59:42
What do you if you get a lot of pushback when you want them to do more? especially during TPR, brain break, react more

This is a frequency dictionary for German. You can look up words and see which words are most popular if you're struggling. Check that link for links to other languages :)

I love your level 3 TPR language ideas too! I'm trying to find them in the TPR docs you attached last week but don't see them. I would lvoe to see them!
Carla Tarini
01:05:34
change of topic: are you required to give a starting point assessment at the beginning of the year with level 1? I have to give 2 during the first week so that I can show growth by November and February. I change it up every year bc I never like what I pick.
jcheng3n
01:10:23
