Would also like to hear - how do you go from all those buckets to a roadmap? (how do I distill all of this info into a path)
Liz Heidner

(e.g. always getting called dependable / reliable… but that can be an issue)

I am interested in switching from sales to digital marketing …. do you have any advice on how to gain skills/experience in a given industry that you don’t have experience in?

I'm currently working as a sales engineer. There's much I enjoy about the job, but it doesn't feel like the right fit for me. I know what I want in a job in terms of icing (e.g. flexible schedule, work from home, travel, able to make a difference / help people or animals), but not sure where to start / how to transition / what jobs to look into. I'm thinking about travel writing, but I need something that's high earnings as well, so... I guess I'm trying to find my path.

I transitioned from the military after 10 years and have been in my new job for 6 months. how long do you stick with a new career before knowing its time to shift gears again? I’m not unhappy but don’t want to look flakey if I jump companies a bunch

Interested in suggestions on drill down clarity of direction. One of my likes are variety but then can get stuck with moving forward. I do countless research, career tests, find your strength/genius etc.. but still feeling stuck

How do you find people who are close enough to your path/role (specifically product management) to get feedback on your resume or do mock interviews?

I’ve had some good informational interviews, but don’t really know how to follow up on them. I’ll send a thank you note and connect with them LinkedIn, but sometimes people don’t respond to my thank you and I know I won’t run into them anytime soon (they don’t live where I do, have a really busy job, are not in my current industry). So I feel like I know people that I haven’t actually spoken to in years and I don’t know how to reach out to them again. Any advice on how to make these interviews work after the interview?

I thought questions went in the Q&A space. My question is : How would you suggest moving forward when your goal is determining what role/job to move towards?
