People who lose their hearing later in life don’t know ASL, and need CART, so they are almost always left out it seems.
It’s so frustrating because people seems to think that ALL people who are Deaf or late deaf know and understand ASL.
I tend to see CART more local to me and city council meetings are not supported by ASL translation services. They hide in the please notify us 48 hours in advance of needed accommodations.
