I can hear you both just fine
Welcome!Type hello and/or check your sound.
That's just for visiting patron visits, not Minerva-Minerva transactions, correct?
Will we be able to determine how many visitors from other Minerva libraries visit?
Ah, ok :)
Will we be able to opt in for Minerva - Minerva borrowing but not open up to MaineCat?
Or another system. Is it an all or nothing?
Would items with a 1xx location code work for inter system walk in lending?
Gotcha - thanks
Just to confirm, patrons can make returns at any participating library?
when checked in at a different location, is it set to transit or still listed as checked out to patron?
If an item in lost in transit then the patron is responsible?
That does, thanks!
Yes Mainecat transaction
Yes it does.
Just another scenario here, if a Bangor item was checked out at OOB and returned at Freeport, we wouldn't be able to check it in and the item would still be checked out to the patron until it was returned to the home library
Yup - sorry, typing during discussion
Doesn’t this take a service exclusively funded by local municipalities and non-profits and attempt to make it a state wide resource?
Your ILS fees are local but infrastructure is funded in a number of ways by state and federal funds
No thank. this is my primary concern with the project.
We will provide stickers for participating libraries to put on their doors with Logo and Maine Reciprocal Borrowing Program name/acronym. This was suggested yesterday by Nancy Crowell from Scarborough Public Library to provide in addition to dime sized stickers for patron cards
