Can you speak to a scenario of someone who was hired as a contractor for a project with a tech startup, with a 3 month contract, which is about to end…but who has just got a verbal renewal the project will be a long term one and they will need your services indefinitely- how do I negotiate this way? For a simple renewal of the same contract, or is this an opportunity to negotiate a fresh contract and upwards?
