AAP reported that Audio Books grew $127.1 million dollars over 2017 or 127.1 million dollars so where is David getting his data? Also HE printed books continue to decline your over year which makes one really question where is PIA getting its data for this report?
The full report cites the various sources. The decline in audiobooks from 2017-18 came from PW.
Amazon continues to increase in-house book manufacturing capacity. Are their numbers included, and what has been the impact?
are distributors like Ingram (and IPG) (and Bookmasters) included in this data?
Should they be?
Do you have data on the manufacturing process of books, offset, digital?
I’d be curious to know how profitability metrics hold up offset vs digital too
