I served congregations in Canajoharie and Fort Plain, New York, along the Mohawk River. They are a few miles from Fort Johnson where Molly Brant lived int he British garrison. A small Anglican Church from that period is visible from the New York State Thruway as you drive by.

I took a norther highway once a few years ago, rather than the thruway, and drove for hours west to east, all in Native American country the whole way
