ghada.almalouf
32:43
can we have the recorded webinar or the slides ?
Pastor Charles
32:55
Hi Joachim. What do you do if the majority of your clients require physical follow up before they pay? Giving them an option to pay via mobile is like relieving them the pressure to pay
Kambala
33:53
slides will be really helpful
etugushi
35:20
I agree, the slides could be really helpful

Hello joachim Bald, On taking care of employees, would your recommend a situation were employees are expected to work from home perhaps for the next 30 days as we monitor global trends in the spread of Covid 19?

41:14
Hello. Filipe from Mozambique.
nharnandan
41:35
Hi Everyone, is it possible to have the slides and also the recording
ghada.almalouf
42:33
we are adding tempreture check for every employee before entering the office anyone with above 37 should go back home
Paula
43:13
Hi Joachim, how to handle temporary unemployment?
TIN-21566
43:15
I am working in refugges camp in south of Algeria , all the collaborators of my NGO work at Home , but i dont know if ths scenario of catastroph or pandemic phenomena are in the security plan of my NGO , probably No
Wilbroda
44:40
from your network of experts how long is this pandemic expected to last? how long should we plan for before we can return back to normal operations? In an African context
Josphat Konnie
45:08
But ghada, i feel such temperature checks might be too discriminatory or rather stigamatizing, coz there are so many conditions that can elevate body temperature. I suggest you simply acquire Covid text kits.
Paula
46:11
yes for customers
Wilbroda
46:37
how do you determine the clients you give moratoriums to without coming out as unfair or discriminatory? (asking on behalf of our bank)
TIN-21566
47:06
I think actually we must wait , there are concellations of missions just food distributions
Hans Hekkenberg
47:07
Maybe good to add to the guidelines of wearing masks (ref to WHO): If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected 2019-nCoV infection.Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing.Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water. If you wear a mask, then you must know how to use it and dispose of it properly.
Olivier
47:41
Which actions must be taken by regulation authorities in this crisis time?
adebimpe
48:40
In our bank and in Lagos we have partial luck down, we have stepped up awareness in the use of mobile and USSD channels. Account Officers are putting calls through to check welfare of clients, discuss peculiar issues with them and end it with reminders of payment and encourage them to stay home and use other channels. We are already considering payment holidays conciously. We are stronger in encouraging the use of alternative channels to ensure we balance liquidity. For our staff, we are all engaged in hygiene orientation, provision of hand gloves and nose mask to all staff because we have not been directed to close-up. We are however, enforcing early closure.
Paula
49:01
How do you see the rol of networks/associations in these times?
adebimpe
50:33
Do we need to amend our business continuity document to accomodate a pandemic situation in general?
TIN-21566
50:35
For me as youth worker the role of association in my context of refugees are important in sensibilization of population and working with ministery of health in this way
TIN-21566
50:50
and diffusing spot of sensibilization
Hans Hekkenberg
01:02:59
Referring to the timeline: 2 week incubation, 3 weeks of illness, however how about the time for those serious patients that end up in the IC rooms.... Because this is a critical factor also: limited capacity of IC rooms
Olivier
01:05:59
Is lowering the Policy rate by monetary authorities a good strategy? from Finance institution side and clients side?
TIN-21566
01:07:20
How about the salaries , for the situation of experts with NGO in refugees camp or other places of emergencies in Africa ,
j.curic
01:08:57
Do you think an interest should be waived for the period of the moratorium on loan repayments?
Abhishek Gupta
01:11:49
in terms of risk, what level of PAR 30 would be acceptable for the coming period. In terms of arrears follow up, should we maintain our follow measures normally; calling people to put pressure on them during this period seem a bit inappropriate.
etugushi
