Maybe good to add to the guidelines of wearing masks (ref to WHO): If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected 2019-nCoV infection.Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing.Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.If you wear a mask, then you must know how to use it and dispose of it properly.
Which actions must be taken by regulation authorities in this crisis time?
In our bank and in Lagos we have partial luck down, we have stepped up awareness in the use of mobile and USSD channels. Account Officers are putting calls through to check welfare of clients,discuss peculiar issues with them and end it with reminders of payment and encourage them to stay home and use other channels. We are already considering payment holidays conciously. We are stronger in encouraging the use of alternative channels to ensure we balance liquidity. For our staff, we are all engaged in hygiene orientation, provision of hand gloves and nose mask to all staff because we have not been directed to close-up. We are however, enforcing early closure.
How do you see the rol of networks/associations in these times?
Do we need to amend our business continuity document to accomodate a pandemic situation in general?
For me as youth worker the role of association in my context of refugees are important in sensibilization of population and working with ministery of health in this way
