concept of identity is very important and often overlooked (def by me!!)

Leaders at all levels of college life do need to be accountable and responsible but we need to get better at helping when things get tough. increasing the integrity and fairness of the whole system will support leadership and resilience. Going forward the world will become more complex, volatile, uncertain- a whole system approach feels the correct time.

Agree Stuart. The current model of a single leader is based on quite a hierarchical and individual model. At times like this leaders need teams to make joint decisions

I agree and think the sector as a whole needs to move away from a scapegoat culture and accept that when things go wrong it is an organisational rather than an individual issue to address - governing bodies do need to adopt a courage and stamina under fire approach
