Is that 2000-2008 figure largely attributed to NABERS?
Ben Sichlau
33:20
I suspect EEO also played a part.
Charlie Knaggs
34:19
@Bradley Anderson may have some thoughts on that Nick
Charlie Knaggs
36:56
I wonder if it's also a result of a change in the manufacturing base in Australia during those years - away from heavy industry and towards more services
Nick Pfitzner

Good point

@Nick, building sector's score is much better than other sectors, I think NABERS and BEEC are definitely key factors to drive in this sector.

Folks, if you have any questions for the Q&A, start posting them here!
Anthony Ogilvie
01:06:08
Is it safe to assume that 'energy' is primarily utilities i.e. not diesel that a fleet would use as fuel.
Bruce Precious
01:09:06
HI Warren, have you explored using analytics to identify when measured energy doesn't match with what's expected ?
Bruce Precious
01:10:53
Can you tell us about the system that supports the analytics ?
Nick Pfitzner
01:12:45
Warren is absolutely right and that comes down from the highest levels. Need to understand the Corporate Sustainability Goals and how energy contributes to this
Bradley Anderson
01:14:46
@warren you mentioned integration of the EnMS into your LEAN management system - was that a more logical and easier fit than integration into a ISO9001 or ISO14001
Alan Dayeh
01:15:23
Nick - I work on Corporate Sustainability Goals with our clients. Is there anything you think needs to be included in them that helps drive Energy Management?
David Hoffmann
01:17:25
To be clear - we do have opportunities to support more than 120 businesses with energy coaching
Bradley Anderson
01:19:49
Thanks Warren - I was thinking LEAN would work well so good to hear it happening in practice
Bruce Precious

Thanks Point/Lion/DPIE
Nick Pfitzner
01:20:11
@Alan - primarily, I think it is helpful to understand what your unit cost of carbon (CO2e) is for every kWh or MJ consumed as a starting point
Lina Rico Gomez
01:20:21
The tool should be available to more business, it would support DPIE in gathering more data and also more businesses testing could improve the tool as well. Thanks
