Is there an expansion of case management services and hiring to meet the need of so many individuals and families now qualifying for CFC entitlement for personal care assessment because they are now eligible for Medicaid apple health recipients because of job loss?

01:13:15
During the region 2 webinar earlier today there was talk of pro bono lawyers who are available to assist with certain legal issues. Do you have resources to connect with these lawyers?

01:14:15
If a AFH or group home is not allowing a client to return home because they left the house, is this allowed?

01:21:38
Is there a way to get a transcript of the meetings?

01:24:50
Are DDA waivers closed statewide?

01:24:59
How can I become a provider...located in Olympia Wa

01:25:05
Hello all, we will be publishing this recording on DDA, The Arc of Washington and DDC websites and the captioning will appear on the recording. We are not yet prepared to release a transcript but we will take that feedback for this and future meetings.

01:25:25
Will you please provide additional information regarding Community Guide and Community Engagement services and providing them for more than one client at a time?

01:27:34
if older parents are sick and or passing away and there is no other caregiver in the home where are people going for care in emergencies? nursing facilities? SOLA? RHC?

01:28:52
For potential independent providers who want to get contracted to provide personal care hours, what is a reasonable expectation on the time frame on getting a contract signed so that the IP can begin providing services? What if none of the fingerprint locations will schedule an appointment to get those done?

01:31:12
Are Supported Living referral packets being sent out? Are any providers accepting people?

01:32:01
I see there have been rate increases for companion home providers and adult family homes. Will IP's be getting a rate increase?

01:34:04
I have heard planned overnight respite are no longer having people come to them. Are there any other options for families to use?

01:34:56
I know a family that lost a provider and would like to increase the hours of their only other provider but that IP is already at their max weekly hours. Will an exception be made for that IP to work more hours?

01:35:23
Concerning CG/CE services, was there an emergency rule change stating that a provider can work with more than one client at a time during a single session and where can I find more information as a provider?

01:36:45
For non-profits that are operating AFH's Medicaid/State rates don't tend to cover costs and therefore there is a strong reliance on donations/fund-raisers, Considering the economic conditions now and the foreseeable future, fund-raising/donations likely will decrease substantially, and having AFH's have to close because of lack of funding will be not in the best interests of anyone. Can DDA consider how it might help with this revenue deficit, esp. in dealing with likely significant State cutbacks across the Board for all State Depts.? To us, all the services for DD should be considered "Essential", and therefore not subject for cutbacks.

01:38:06
As a potential provider, What if you are not Medicaid/medicare certified?

01:41:56
Senator Wilson hears your message. :-)

01:42:44
thank you everyone for your critical work during this crisis!

01:42:45
For DDA, how might the situation impact DDA's response, which is due July 1st, related to SB 5672? Ad thanks Senator Wilson for hearing our concerns about funding cutbacks

01:44:41
Just to confirm, from what Stacy said about the stimulus checks, it will not effect the $2,000 resource limit...did you say for one year? So, when the check is received and deposited into the client checking account, they have one year to spend that money? Will we still need to contact Long Term Care at DSHS to report that income, or Social Security to report that income?

01:45:30
Can the service options offered for CE/CG be used for adult day providers? What are the options for these programs?
