Organizations should invoke the “force major” clause in their contracts. “Act of God, emergency” situations should allow cancellation of contracts and full refunds.
Force majeure clause
Our org is on the front lines of protecting medically fragile clients and we are bleeding our resources to keep them safe and alive. How do we ask people for money now to help us with this crisis without being insensitive to the stewardship process?
