Last night at Human Rights Commission, we were informed that the city will cease investigating complaints of unfair housing discrimination and turn that back to the State - which is already 6 months behind schedule investigating complaints. Budget cuts led to city terminating its investigators and contracts with HUD and state.

I understand that the District Court prohibits people with a history of gang activity or membership from participation in therapeutic court until they have been disengaged from gang for at least one year. Thinking along the lines of housing first strategy, forcing a delay of one year seriously elevates failure rates.
