Thanks, Jerome! We do believe this is very useful info! Europe could certainly need respiratory masks like this. We’ve a few producer members, but otherwise I think our importer/buyer members would be interested in retailing those produced by your members

Mikkel Norgard, WFTO-Europe
01:56:53
do you know of any verification needs on sanitary standards, etc. for exporting to certain countries? I’m thinking mainly of the EU, but if you know of comparable Asian countries, like Japan, Singapore, etc.?

01:57:02
Could you please let me know a quick way check the fitment of the mask. Also regarding the 3 layer approach for tissue paper, can you please let me know the reason behind orienting the 3 papers in the diagonal manner rather.
Mikkel Norgard, WFTO-Europe
01:57:22
can look into it of course, but just in case you know.

I called the Science and Technologoy Park Dept. of Chiangmai University and was informed that the university is locked down now and it is very difficult to ask them to make the research for various alternative raw materails to replace as a filter here in Thailand.
Hisham El Gazzar
01:58:43
what if we use more than 3 tissue papers? will this increase the protection?
Mikkel Norgard, WFTO-Europe
02:02:18
sounds good, thanks! I’ll look into any EU provisions that could be problematic if importing from your members, and share with you if I find any.
Mikkel Norgard, WFTO-Europe
02:03:04
I’ll have to go, but thanks a lot for this work and for sharing with us! Take care all!

Hi, we have a question around the cutting of the template in bulk. This mask was designed as a DIY so individuals can make single pieces .. how are the current producers cutting fabric in bulk using the templates for better productivity.

here is the video on how to wear the mask properly:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9UDIIwFRa8&feature=youtu.beand the middle layer is where it trap the virus, so it need to discard after use (the middle layer)
