Donjala Smith-Thomas
58:11

I think the proposed timeline is appropriate because of the fast changes of COVID-19. We will also be able to make unforeseen issues during the extended timeframe.
Breanna Jimmerson
58:52
Will the money go to the parent or towards the technology device ?
Dr. Rob Greemn

Morris Allen

If the Hybrid plan is used how will it be determined which days the students will attend school?
iPhone
01:07:55
Will more nurses be hired?
Roshelle Cochran
01:08:04
I think virtual is better
Donjala Smith-Thomas
01:08:25
Virtual is safer for sure
Robin McGee
01:08:43
yes it is
Galaxy A10e
01:08:54

please do not send these kids back to school
Galaxy A10e
01:11:53
virtual learning is better
MOHD VAZEETH PASHA
01:11:59
vertical learning is best
Chariece Glasper Peterson
01:12:34
Hybrid is better, even though virtual is safer, as working parents who will be there making sure the children are actually doing the work, unless there will be certain times after working hours the children can do the work.
Galaxy S10
01:13:23
I don't want my kids going back. We're putting our kids at risk having them going back to school.
Galaxy A10e
01:13:28
did you answer my question about having a sick child
Galaxy A10e
01:14:34
yes the virus isnt getting better social distancing is better
Shaleeah Jackson OBanner
01:14:45
So how are the children going to do virtual learning when there are multiple children in one household?
Donjala Smith-Thomas
01:14:52
is State Testing still required ?
Robin McGee
01:15:12
these kids learn everything else from videos how would this be any different
Taunya hatchett
01:15:16
Will there be an alliance with mental health services and social workers to support the kids?
Galaxy A10e
01:15:54
and half of these kids will not keep their face mask on
Galaxy Note10+
01:16:07
it will be hard to social distance kids at that age
gloria young
01:16:43
In a state they are going back traditional with social distance
iPhone
01:16:44
Will more nurses be hired?
Ashley
01:16:47
I think hybrid is better
Galaxy Note10+
01:17:04
will they have masks to use
Galaxy A10e
01:17:23
and when they eat at school they will have to remove their mask so how this is going to work
gloria young
01:17:40
They're using plexiglass between each student
Robin McGee
01:17:54
hybrid just seems irresponsible with how easily this virus spreads
Donjala Smith-Thomas
01:18:26
the covid 19 numbers are increasing daily
Regina
01:18:33
Will teacher be working from hone during the virtual learning?
Taunya hatchett
01:18:36
The hybrid model would be idea, if there is a drop in COVID cases. Transportation and childcare will be a big issue. Socialization is an important part of learning and we have to find avenues to provide some virtual socialization
Dr. Rob Greemn
01:18:49
I believe it offers greater flexibility and allows you to better respond to a shut down.
Shaleeah Jackson OBanner
01:18:56
Why is the school district so far behind with technology?
Rayvyn- Selders♏️
01:19:22
what about home school
Regina
01:19:28
Have you reached out to other school distract to accept the students if Yazoo Cit is not able to meet the requirement by Sept 8th
efox
01:19:40
I agree Dr. Wright, virtual learning will be difficult to implement effectively.
Milya Moore
01:19:59
Because before the state took over it was misuse of the funds that could provide better technology.
Shaleeah Jackson OBanner
01:20:10
If virtual is chosen, what would be the time frame for learning?
Morris Allen
01:20:22
how will transportation be affected for the hybrid version of educating the children? how will food service be implemented?
Prasad
01:21:17
virtual learning for high schools is good preference
Donjala Smith-Thomas
01:21:21
Virtual worked for the children when the schools were forced to close right?
Yolanda
01:21:23
if all parents choose virtual learning then how will that work?
Galaxy Note10+
01:21:57
if virtual is done how will be able to assist our children. I would prefer virtual learning, but trying to assist is a problem.
iPad
01:22:18
so that means the devices will need data provided from the school
iPad
01:22:28
for the devices
Dot Duane Thomas
01:25:04
Do you have enough IT Specialist to program the Chromebook?
Shaleeah Jackson OBanner
01:25:10
They have the mobile internet devices like Verizon and other cellphone companies have. Is that an option for those who don’t have internet at home provided with devices given to children?
Morris Allen
01:26:31
a member of the panel of the Black Caucuses said if you are not testing, you're guessing
Dot Duane Thomas
01:28:20
what would the hours be for Hybrid Schedule? Hours of Virtual Learning?
Shaleeah Jackson OBanner
01:28:32
I honestly believe that all the schools may need to stay closed until the schools can be remodeled within the buildings and repairs made that are well over due. These children deserve better than what they have.
c williams
01:31:12
How will handle self contained students?
efox
01:31:31
The community needs to complete the 2020 Census which will directly effect funds to school districts.
Galaxy Note10+
01:31:43
how did the virtual learning this time around did all kids do it. also I know this was new to everyone but, some changes needs to be done with how some teachers implemented their classes.
Natalie
01:32:49
If virtual is chosen, then how will providers reach the children with speech and language concerns or other disabilities
Carisa Reed
01:35:12
We never received a date to turn in the packets.
Dot Duane Thomas
01:35:25
Google Classroom was Awesome! I prefer that platform.
Donjala Smith-Thomas
01:35:42
Love Google Classroom
Galaxy Note10+
01:35:47
there was to much work for kids to do. giving 30 assignments at one time was to much for most students and their parents.
efox
01:36:00
Parents need to make sure they have correct information in the district so they can receive information.
Donjala Smith-Thomas
01:36:10
My son has an iep his teacher did zoom sessions with him
Parent
01:36:37
will the student temp be check when entering the school?
iPhone
01:37:16
would the proposal brought to you last
iPhone
01:38:53
would the proposal sent presented last November not help solve some of these problems?
Monica Doby
01:39:04
most of the people don't have symptoms or fever. so how can you screen those.
Galaxy Note10+
01:39:24
6:00 is a better time. most parents don't be home at 5:30.
Donjala Smith-Thomas
01:39:25
Right Monica
Akelia Shelby
01:39:42
please do that
Galaxy Note10+
01:40:28

Dot Duane Thomas
01:41:34
Thanks for all that you are doing for Our Districts.
Akelia Shelby
01:42:02
How will you all protect the staff that has underlying illnesses??
Kim Roscoe
01:42:17
I see children in the store without masks so like he said it is a big risk no matter what.
Monica Doby
01:42:39
maybe checking with your local hospital to get some questionnaires or questions that they ask their employees will help
Gs10
01:43:35
will there be testing at school
Robin McGee
01:43:52
I know 3 right now that aren’t coming back
Galaxy Note10+
01:44:05
I work with the department of health. any information you need on opening, testing, how to clean i will get that information
Dr. Rob Greemn
01:44:05
Great idea and use of assets
Galaxy A10e
01:45:32
yes we see children are without mask in a store because they are not forced to wear them but I still prefer virtual learning
