How do you define “new services”
David C Martin (Age@Home)
26:27
I think we need to be more specific; in the case of Home-Assistant, which has the capability to introduce new services at run-time, the credentialing is provided extrinsically from the platform by default; however, there are options to authenticate a new service by pre-registering credentials into the “server” and the “client” and the new service using those credentials to on-board to the service mesh

Somewhat similar to the SDO mechanism

Have to head out everyone. Thanks for the discussion. And I realize a topic that is probably a little early. But these are questions that will need some feedback to the corresponding projects in order to address the needs ORRA.

in general orchestrating config will be a learning we need to share as a best practice

that problem statement is the kind of thing that could transfer tremendous amounts of knowledge and value to the community of adopters
David C Martin (Age@Home)

The credentials for actors are within a given community; for example, the SDO example with OpenHorizon establishes a community of authenticated devices using SDO; OH also establishes a set of organizations and users within that community; and that community lives w/in another community of IBM Cloud users.

@Jesus and @Miguel, I’d also like to discuss how and where to begin integrating FloGo

For Safety/Occupancy

OR EXAMPLE: The ORRA sample solution, Occupancy Oracle, provides occupancy information sufficient to comply with typical pandemic limitations: +/- 1% for populations under 1K, 2% for populations under 10K, and 5% for populations under 100K enabling a 95% reduction in occupancy management staffing.
