No offence, but the information on Covid 19 and how to get it has been reviewed to nauseum.
Vanessa Hernandez
42:32
Thank you Doctor some might say "review to nauseum" but clearly numbers show were ALL not doing it so people still need to hear it doctor so thank you for reminding us all even if its review for some.
Hortencia Sanchez
43:55
Is there a reason why when wearing a surgical mask, a person may feel nauseaus or have a headache after a while?
Maribel Hernandez

District Superintendents in the 13 districts and the County Superintendent, with the support of Drs. Beilenson and Kasirye, have made the determination that schools should open in August/September with a Distance Learning model.
Vanessa Hernandez
49:43
So what is the different between online schools like Connections Academy and "distance learning" are public school teachers doing distance learning looking at the systems online school around before COVID19 were doing???
Chisa Moore
51:45
I'm a foster mom and my foster children have gone from zoom visits with bio parent to in person visits mask are worn by bio parents and they are allowed to interact fully with the children am I safe when the children return home from the visit
Vanessa Hernandez
56:47
With numbers increasing Riverside is up to 20% positivity rate you would think visits might be be reevaluated and asking parents who visit to please commit to keep to mask and physical distancing in there lives as a support to their children who they are visiting risk exists hopefully Doctor can speak on your question
Stefan Schaeffer

You can look up your local State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) office at www.scdd.ca.gov. All of our offices have some PPE to give out. Some have Disposable Masks, Cloth Masks, Face Shields, Sanitizer, and maybe soon, gloves. Contact your local office for more details.

As an SDC teacher, I know my students need up close, physical prompting and proximity. My students have severe sensory challenges and most are extremely resistant to anything on their heads (hats, headphones, etc). Parents are reporting their children are resistant to wearing masks, and to even seeing masks on others. (They’ve been working on this since March.) So we are looking at students who need close physical proximity, likely will not tolerate PPE, have very limited self-care and hygiene skills and yet are in most need of being with their teachers. Any suggestions?
Elena Watson
01:12:50
Nice to see you again Michelle.

SCDD offices also may soon have the "see-through" masks. They have not arrived yet, but you might contact the office and let them know to put you on an "interested list".

existe un riesgo respecto al apropiado oxigenación del cerebro, si se hace actividad física con mascarilla?, como correr, trotar, jugar pelotazos, etc. actividades que harán nuestros niños en el receso porque hay niños de educación especial en inclusión general
Rhonda Savage
01:14:43
Clear masks seem like they should be considered as a form of universal design.
Vanessa Hernandez
01:20:46
Doctor can you speak on those electric masks that have a filter and a fan
Marcia Eichelberger
01:21:25
Good question is what Dr. Openshaw was starting to answer about the masks that have a pocket and you place a small filter in the pocket in the mask. How often do you have to change those mask filters?
Cindy Cherry
01:28:25
What do you think about shields
Mark Nielsen
01:29:10
Answered earlier: shields are better than nothing, but not as good as masks because they don’t go under the chin and control your exhaled breath
Susana Luviano
