Hi everyone - thanks for joining us tonight! You'll all be on mute during the program but you'll have the opportunity to ask questions in our chat feature (here!). A little after 6 p.m., we'll go on a very short mindful walk. We'll be asking you what you thought about it after the walk so we hope you'll share. If you are tweeting during the program, use the hashtag #WalkWellArl.

Question I was wondering if there are any ideas on journaling do you prefer to type/write in a notebook and pen what kind of notebooks and pens do you like to use specifically? Any recommendations?

I try to walk or run every day during Covid-time, but sometimes I don't find it restorative because I get angry at my fellow travelers who are not masked, practicing social distance, trying to run me over, etc. How do I let it go and enjoy my walk/run?

Do you move the walk indoors during bad/cold weather, like an indoor track?

What about walking with different senses; for example, doing an "olfactory walk" or a "sound walk" since we tend to be visually oriented.

walking mindfully may sound like you’re zoning out, but it sounds like a more heightened awareness and perhaps safer. do you discourage music in general?
Cornelia Lesh

I meant listening to music while walking

Thank you for sharing this with us. I will to share this with our club during our next walk. Our walks are usually a 10K walk with a 5K option with a goal but I think this would be great to start our walk off with a mindful walk.
