Are we now do contact tracing? Do we know where these new cases are coming from? Is there any consistencies?
Bill Gallen
28:04
What exactly are the responsibilities of the business owner when an employee develops symptoms?
Molly Eldridge
29:38
Do we know if the 10 positive people were symptomatic?
Holly Conn Mountain Roots
30:39
I’d like to confirm what I think I have interpreted from the available guidance. According to the CDC website, if we are an essential business, and we have a presumptive positive case, that person immediately goes home, isolates, etc. And then people who have been in close contact with that person may continue working with mask and hygiene protocols until they themselves exhibit symptoms, continuing to closely monitor themselves. Is that correct ?

31:18
What is important to business as well is the new ‘Healthy Families and Workplace Act,’ that require ALL employers to provide paid sick leave. Is that correct?
Pamela’s iPad
32:17
And this includes paying employees for insulation?
Celeste
33:26
Yes Pam, if your employee is in quarantine ordered by public health, yes the employer needs to pay the employee for any time off.
Toulouse
34:11
But there is a tax credit -- more convoluted than it needs to be -- to cover 100 percent of two weeks of sick leave for virus related issues.
Celeste
34:29
yes, TL there is a tax credit.
Pamela’s iPad
34:37
That order came out from the Governor July 14th. It would be helpful if the County was up-to-date on that.
Bill Gallen
34:53
Yes, more detail on paid time off for quarantine/isolation
Celeste
35:34
I will get the information to cathie

the update said if the criteria are met and if a declaration is made to move to yellow, this seems like there is subjectivity in the declaration. If the criteria is met is there a possibility a declaration won’t be made?
