Has there been further consideration of extending the deadline to hold IEP team meets to discuss if compensatory services are needed? On page 18 of the Governor's back to school guidance, it states, "Schools will need to model a sense of calmness and self-assurance to their students asthey enter the school year. It is recommended that the first week of school focus onstabilizing students by spending time building relationships, modeling expectations, andimplementing support systems. ". I'm thinking it will take more than a week to do that. It will be difficult to do that if we are pulling special education staff and general education teachers to have meetings. We are working on holding meetings, but we cannot complete them all prior to the beginning of the year.

is the DOE going to help with attaining PPE for schools, like the state is doing for police and fire?

Certification/Recertification information is VERY difficult to navigate on the new site

15:17
Same information listed in Chat box.

15:24
Please consider adding shorter link (Bit.ly) for Procedural Safeguards page. Easier to to give to parents and add to documents. Thanks

NHSEIS IEPs are printing with 6 options for parent response to IEP (combined response to IEP and placement) yet there is still a separate placement page for response. Is this change going to stay in place?

17:41
Is the November 15th deadline in a recent memo?

17:46
Can we get the extension of the 18-19 grant in writing? Also can we get the November 15 date in writing for delayed meetings

18:03
Will funds be made available for compensatory ed. services?

18:53
If a parent would like to delay a meeting, we would need to schedule according to what "agreed upon by both parties" according to the NH Spec Ed rules. Not sure if we can hold them to a Nov 15th deadline

19:08
Procedural Safeguards are under the Laws/Rules/Policies link. Just found them.

20:03
Forms for parents seeking due process are hard to find on the new website.

20:23
Is there any way that we can have NHSEIS send notification to us when a parent signs the IEP?

20:52
Are the remote 18-19 funds extended as well?

22:39
Sorry if I missed it - will there be additional funds for comp ed beyond remote instruction mini grants and CARES/ESSER?

23:15
Do we we collect parent signatures on WPNs for Comp Ed meetings?

24:11
Case managers will receive notification once DOE/PCG has made sure no personal case manager personal information is available on the parent portal. PCG is working on this issue.

24:30
Becky these are very helpful! I would like to advocate for these meetings to continue in some fashion for next year regardless of remote or in person instruction.

24:59
