As for lost wages, what if an assault vicitm who went to the ER at the time of the incident does not get a doctor's note but because of his injuries he misses work for 3 weeks, can he still apply for that benefit ? Would he list the date he went to the doctor and got the approval to be released back to work or would he list the date the incident happened since he stopped working since then?
