16:16
Where did you get your fogger? and what chemical are you using with it?

16:18
work with your local bank on the ppp applications

16:26
EILD money is a loan...…….use it for whatever you want.

16:35
hello everyone from Daniell from Unlimited Tours & Charters Baltimore, MD

16:45
Hello - most banks will have a qualification. For Wells Fargo, you would need to have a Business Checking account opened prior to Feb 15, 2020.

17:02
Hi All, Roxanne Gillis, Northwest Navigator, Portland OR

17:04
I have applied for both programs. I have neither seen nor heard anything from the SBA or our bank. Has anyone received any funds from this program?

17:05
@sockp00 thank you

17:25
Nothing on this end either

17:32
Christian Stanley......what type of fogger is it? if you can send me info on that please..... chris@tlcluxury.com thanks

17:35
For Wells Fargo, yes we have already started to fund some SBA PPP loans for our customers

17:47
need to know which fogger and what chemical since most only kill bacteria and not viruses. we are you startung to use UV lighting

17:50
applied for all loans and heard nothing from any

18:02
Warren / Courtney: Same for me as well. No word on EIDL or PPP since filing

18:03
Curis fogger

18:11
I have already heard from EILD and got approved!!!

18:27
We have a Curis fogger you can go to Curissystems.com for info easy to use

18:31
Alfonso, when did you apply? How long before you heard?

19:03
Alfonso…what state are you in?

19:09
Curis is the system we bought. The chemical is called Curoxide, it is a peroxide.

19:35
Cannot receive an EIDL with the PPP. That's New?

19:37
Hello - D'arcy from Lily Coaches - Bothell, WA

19:38
Slide indicates if you get PPP you cannot get EIDL. Please confirm.

20:02
I tried to apply for PPP with Wells Fargo as soon as they opened Sat morning but after a long wait on Monday evening I was sent an email to notify me I am in queu and they will send me an application as soon as they open up the process again. that was very poor customer service on Wells side as I have been their customer for the past 7 years. I finally ended up sending the application to TCF Bank as they opened their process yesterday and waiting for the approval.

20:17
this slide is not true. you can do both loans

20:40
make sure everyone reapplies if you applied before March 29th

20:44
On the PPP, once approved and funds are received.

20:46
for ELID

20:57
We expect to have fogging options for you in the next few days…various options with pluses and minuses. We will try for a volume discount. AND availability of equipment will be critical.

21:03
If you get PPP you Cannot use ELID for Payroll.

21:13
How much was the Curis fogger?

21:17
We can not compete with unemployment with the 600 bonus drivers are collecting $1100 plus a week now

21:23
Is there a time period of when the PPP funds have to be initiated to be used??

21:23
PPP is only temp for 8 weeks

21:26
PPP and EIDL were not originally tied together. We thought they were exclusive. Ken just said 85% were doing both.!!!!!

21:29
but after that you can use

21:37
We applied for the $10k emergency grant on March 30 and have not received funds or any response yet.

21:48
has anyone received the 10,000 grant within 3 days of applying directly into your bank account

21:51
did the ppp slide say that you can't apply for a ppp loan and a eidl loan?

21:53
I have received response and got approval in California

21:56
I heard they just announced that they are now limiting the EIDL to $15,000, instead of the $2,000,000 limit that was originally announced?

21:58
I applied for EDIL nearly 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything

21:59
for EILD

22:03
What formula is EIDL using to calculate what your loan amount will be?

22:10
paul at Corporate Coach: I applied for the $10,000 emergency Grant last week but have not received anything yet. Do I have to file again and how long soes it usually takes to get the funds?

22:10
For

22:25
You can apply (and should) for both. If you get PPP first, use those funds, and when/if you get approved for EIDL loan, you have to use those funds to pay back the PPP Loan

22:39
for defogger peroxide chemical could be bad for human skin

22:41
We applied for EIDL on March 29th - never received 10k, also never heard anything back. Reapplied and still nothing.. :(

22:43
ojo

22:56
Can EIDL turn into a grant or is it just a loan?

23:05
I ???

23:10
Yes the SBA PPP is a 2 year loan term, but the funds are meant to be used within the 8 weeks. After the 8 weeks, the customer can request the forgiveness for the PPP loan. To be eligible for PPP loan forgiveness, you would need to use at least 75% of the funds for payroll expense (and you would need to verify that). thanks

23:59
We applied for the EIDL on March 27 have not heard anything. I called SBA. Waiting to assign a loan officer.

24:08
is the EIDL only $10K it will not cover much payroll. when do you have to begin using the PPP

24:23
I know who Becky is! Hey Becky!

24:45
The PPP loan can be used for 'anything', but to get the forgiveness, has to be on Payroll. It is otherwise a 1% loan for two years.....if you think you can pay back within 2 years, its a good deal.

25:16
Can EIDL turn into a grant or is it just a loan?

25:31
EIDL currently is just a loan except for the first 10,000

26:38
The Curis fogger is about $9000 with shipping and some solution. It creates some Hydrogen Sulfide H2S it has to be aired out and tested prior to re entry a tester should be purchased as well

26:49
We applied for the EIDL on 3-19 and STILL have not had heard anything

27:21
we haven’t heard anything either

27:32
can you apply for ppp loan with one or more approved lenders in the hope to get a quick response? I applied thru a bank that I am not an established customer and am a wells fargo customer. i'd rather apply thru WF. I just called my branch and they confirmed they are now able to accept new applications

27:35
I applied for EIDL on 3-23 and still did not hear anything either

27:55
Has anyone got approved for any of the programs in California?

28:28
Peroxide foggers can be very bad for skin, eyes and lungs. Personnel will need to where PPE, be trained and monitored. The fog is heavier than air. It will irritate lungs. People should only enter with a respirator though it is considered a lower health risk. You should also fog in an area that can be ventilated so as not to fill your shop floor with the fog. It is low risk but it could irritate those with underlaying conditions, more so in smaller areas.

28:37
Yes the SBA PPP loan is a 2 year loan term at 1% interest rate. The loan is unsecured and no collateral is needed. Loan payments are deferred for 6 months after the loan funds. Again, it is meant to be used for payroll. To be eligible for loan forgiveness, at least 75% of the funds will need to be used for payroll. Yes - in CA, banks are starting to fund the PPP loans now. thanks

29:57
We applied 4.1 and received an application number and that all....nothing else.. I called this week and was told anyone applying would get an email this week indicating to sign into your company portal for all communication.

30:05
According to the Minnesota Department of Education " I understand your desire to have the school pay you the full contract amount as if kids were still in school. Aside from transportation for child care and special education, MDE does not have the authority to compel a school or district to take actions or make payments beyond their contractual obligations. We are awaiting guidance from US Department of Education on how to implement the provisions in the CARES Act, including the provision mentioned." So we have not received anything but minimum from our school district for school bus transportation

30:12
Hi Debby - yes Wells Fargo did open up the Intake Form, which allows you to express interest in getting a PPP loan. That form is on wellsfargo.com. You will need a Business Checking account to submit that form.

31:55
Hi everyone - EIDL, according to the SBA. is going to take, on average, 8 weeks. We are still working on a $2 billion stimulus in the form of grants based on work between Sen. Grassley and the Undersecretary of the Treasury

32:06
Hi Debby - yes you can apply for the PPP with more than one lender. Just be aware - you will only be approved for one loan, once the actual application is being reviewed by that bank. Once the PPP loan books, a notice is sent to the SBA group (called a PLP), and that will tell the SBA not to fund another PPP loan for that same business. thanks

32:14
Is this presentation available online? So I can send it to my accountant to review.

32:30
the interest limitation may not apply to many businesses

33:15
Yes..presentation will be on our site.

33:43
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gop-effort-for-250b-in-small-business-help-fails-in-senate

33:53
it was just shut down

35:39
different banks different requirements

38:43
Debt carried on equipment that most likely has lost 25 - 50% of its value due to supply/demand.

39:27
Just a note to everyone - All of the banks are working as hard as possible on the SBA PPP loan applications. They had a few days to prepare for millions of loan applications coming in all at the same time. We will all get through this together. If you have submitted a request form to Wells Fargo, you will get status email updates, and you are in our "queue" that we are working through. The PPP loan is a fantastic program, and be patient as the banks work through all of them. Above all - THANK YOU so much for your business, effort, commitment, and the GREAT WORK that you all do to help make the US a success in your industry. We cannot THANK YOU enough!

40:12
we recently applied how it will take to heard from them

40:34
So we apply for the PPP through our local bank? Or through Wells Fargo?

40:38
THANKS

40:58
If you bank is authorized for PPP, by all means you use your local bank.

41:06
go through your local bank … someone with whom you have an existing relationship

41:07
You would apply for the PPP program with your own local bank - basically where you would have you business accounts. thanks

41:16
D`arcy whats wells fargo guidelines

41:20
Thank You

41:45
I applied for the EIDL 3/30 and haven't heard anything, should we reapply?

42:09
what's the date for SBA suggesting we re-apply?

43:00
I applied in March 18 and they asked me to re apply with the new application. I submitted the new application on April 1, 2020. I called SBA they said I would not lose my place.

43:57
Good afternoon all, Ryan from TCF Capital Solutions. I will 2nd Matt's Comments. We are working hard to manage contract modification requests and staying on top of the PPP program. If you need assistance with your TCF PPP app, use this link as a resource. https://www.tcfbank.com/about-tcf/businessrelief

44:20
With the application being submitted - we are not receiving the $10k within the 3 days. Any information on that?

44:38
at my second time applying to EIDL I got a different confirmation number than the first one. Will this be an issue?

44:43
Great seeing you Ryan!

44:51
What if you only have 1099’s. Should they apply on their own individually

44:58
yes

45:07
Yes all of the banks are committed to helping our customers as best we can. thanks

45:48
I am finding that some make more on Unemployment than if we pull them off UI with PPP. Thoughts on this? Maybe EIDL is better and leave our people on UI??

46:42
So if we apply for PPP and EIDL......can you get approved for both and be prepared for 7/1/20 to move through the summer utilizing some of the EIDL funds until we get our feet on the ground? Am I understanding that right???

46:43
John and I are asking for a virtual fly in to replace the one we were to have in 2 weeks. First one tomorrow!

46:55
We were on a town hall meeting with the SBA Florida today....they said that 1099 employees should be included in the PPP. If banks are saying no they are not accepting 1099 employees, you should contact SBA

47:30
are we considered a seasonal industry for thr PPP calculation and what is the best way to average the Payroll for the past 12 months or 3 months seasonal way and do we include Independent contractors payroll in our totals

47:42
the case has already been made.

47:52
could u comment on bus loan deferrals past the 3 months. this will be a key to surviving.

48:29
I you would like to see a nice video of sanitation of vehicles, check out the National Limousine Association Facebook page. https://www.dropbox.com/s/c1lbaa…/Cleaning%20Video%20v2.mp4…

48:33
At best it will take 18 months, more likely three to five years for business to return.

48:54
PPP Does everyone need to come back on Payroll to get this?

48:56
After PPP I anticipate employees needing to go back on Unemployment. Will they still be able to go back on as Disaster Related?

49:04
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ajo1z7d2vbhrwe4/Cleaning%20Video%20Long%20v2.mp4?dl=0&fbclid=IwAR2oJlcZoEq2R4ZRpVRpL3iLKRGQcizFOQMQwGt0Lv-Cl5IJmu6aq6urXXc

49:22
How is the “payroll check” determined? For hourly and day rate drivers

50:11
HI Tracy - no, but the PPP loan is meant to be used for payroll expense. To have the PPP loan forgiven, at least 75% of the funds need to be used for payroll expense. (and I agree with Kens comments)

50:32
PPP applications for independent contractors should open tomorrow

50:37
Does anyone know the website address for applying to PPP?

51:21
Marc KominsTCF is currently discussing what actions we need to take to handle the potential lack of revenue after the 90 day Mod.More to follow. Thanks for asking.

51:21
Hi Matt!! If we don't have work should we still pay drivers even though not working?

51:33
For SBA PPP loans - you would apply with your local bank. Where ever you have your business accounts, that is who you should apply with. I beleive there are 3700 different lenders offering the PPP loan.

51:36
rich you need to talk to your bank

51:37
No mention of insurance. Lancer is still requiring 30% of liability premium, even though there is no actual liability coverage.

51:53
I am puzzled at the logic to bring back employees now when we have no work. It would only make sense for us if we could utilize the PPP at such time as business begins to move again.

51:58
Thank you

52:00
https://www.dropbox.com/s/c1lbaab37616bgf/Cleaning%20Video%20v2.mp4?dl=0&fbclid=IwAR0Vb5JSAboQT8suE6Z_MOtKaLmXYrodpYBv6_G1QMN-EX4298zNVkVerno

52:15
Can you accept less than the amount approved for under PPL to pay just a select group of employees, as long as 75% of whatever we take is used for payroll??

52:15
HI Tracy - yes that is the basic premise of this PPP loan - to keep employees on staff and provide funding for them for the 8 weeks.

52:20
2 Versions here. One long and one short

52:22
Agree Tom McCaughey

52:32
— who else has Philadelphia Insurance and what have they done for you to reduce the pain for the next several months.

52:39
NLA also has a video on their Facebook page from a webinar with the SBA yesterday that will answer many of these questions asked here

52:42
What if you pay less than 75% of the ppp loan for payroll? is the worst case for going this route that you have to pay back a portion, or even the entire amount, in a two year term at 1% interest?

52:59
I understand the clock starts the day you receive the money. The Bank has to distribute within 10 days of the approval. Since there is NO business, no reason to bring drivers back now, would it make sense to delay application until later, say June 01, so that money could carry you to August 01. Leave them on unemployment until June 01. Then you would have a crew in place come August.

53:42
Hi Chris - yes, then it just becomes a normal loan (but with GREAT terms). There is no pre-pay fee, the loan term is for 2 years, and the interest rate is 1.0%. So even if you just want to use it as a short term loan - it is good for that.

53:53
Agree Mr. Thrasher

54:00
sba.gov website is a great resource. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on SUBSCRIBE to receive updates. It’s truly been a valuable resource

54:03
what is the best/easiest systems to decontaminate buses aka like the fogger without spending a lot of labor hours and money

54:11
What Ken said: Even if you pay your employees to stay home, you get to use and be forgiven up to 25% of the loan for (Utilites, rent, mortage interest etc.). So I borrow $100,000 on the PPP. I spend $75,000 on paying drivers to stay home and do nothing. I spend $25,000 on rent and utilities. It will All be forgiven. So the Government paid your rent and utilities for 8 weeks.

54:43
Good points Trenton

54:53
Alan you might not be able to get these loans if you wait to apply

55:03
Trent, you nailed it.

56:54
How do you work on the coaches if you are considered non essential business and have to be closed?

56:56
Agree with Trent but I am thinking that out people would prefer the $600 bump currently being offering. Why not let them enjoy that as long as they can?

57:29
great tips

57:30
ABC company is not allowing their field personnel to work. They are all home.

57:53
Are they going to help you pay the rent, utilities?

58:09
Great stuff!!! https://www.madamedical.com/product/7021/

58:27
Alan, in theory your approach may work IF the funds are not exhausted. As the economy begins to recover, Congress will be less inclined to spend any more funds.

58:50
Check your coach bill of sale to see if your fabric was treated with Anti-Microbial when it was made.

01:00:29
Can you make a furloughed employee come back to work?

01:00:50
Yes, UI would not allow them to remain on if work is available

01:01:17
PPP will be a 1% 2 year loan for 99% of the operators out there. Don't think about the forgiveness as you wont satisfy the requirements.

01:01:31
I thought June 30 was date you HAD to use the funds by for payroll???

01:01:46
And if they are on Orders to shelter in place they cannot come back to work.

01:01:47
Pay them the additional $600.00 You will get that back also

01:02:02
What about drivers that have gotten PT jobs to pass the time make extra money? How do we determine how much to pay each driver?

01:02:11
For the PPP loan forgiveness, if we have 50 part time drivers and an average monthly payroll of $50,000, do I have to pay each of the 50 employees $1000 a month, or can I pay 25 drivers $2,000 each for a month, or pay 10 drivers $5,000 each a month? Will any scenario be forgiven in the same way? Or do I need to pay the same number of part time drivers that I had on my payroll last year at this time?

01:02:13
Thanks to Matt Dance for his good comments. There are things that companies can be doing to get ready for the business to come back and to be ready - thank you for sharing Matt!!

01:02:14
lancer insurance is charging 30% on Liability and that does not make any sense as these buses would not move in the next 2 to 3 months. Lancer should support the operators by just charging on Specified Perils to cover the vehicles only and waive the 30% Liability until we put them in operation. Lancer has always been supportive of our industry and they should show that once again by waiving the 30% liability charge before I have to start looking other places after 27 years with Lancer

01:02:52
I agree, Paul. Is UMA talking with the insurance companies?

01:02:59
Does anyone have a definition of FTEs specific to these SBA loans?

01:03:14
FMCSA has published a letter that charter bus service is essential. We must be ready to move national guard, military, etc.

01:03:14
Two town halls ago to 2 main insurance companies talked out how they were going to come to the party. They have not done so.

01:03:25
RLI is only charging for specified perils. They stepped up to the plate. Thanks RLI.

01:04:15
Berkshire Hathaway is not one of the best to work with

01:04:18
RLI has been great and allowed to drop all insurance to minimum liability

01:04:29
RLI has been fantastic!

01:04:31
Come on, Lancer! Follow RLI lead!!!

01:04:34
yes, Thank you RLI!!

01:04:38
how do you renew 3 out 50 business without turning in plates

01:04:46
Not true for us Trenton Compass Coach. RLI doesn't separate specified perils or so we were told.

01:04:47
buses I mean

01:04:48
RLI IS A BIG HELP

01:04:53
HI Eric B - you can request (your monthly payroll x 2.5) for your PPP loan amount. It is up to you how you use the money and pay them. For loan forgiveness, you need to spend at least 75% of the funds on payroll. That is the important part once you get the funds. If you dont use it for 75% for payroll, then it just becomes a basic loan: 2 year term at 1.0% rate.

01:04:54
Is anyone having any luck with getting your busses working outside of transporting people?

01:05:15
Get Tim and Michelle back on camera next week.

01:05:15
Every thing that we are getting is going to be wasted in California, because C.A.R.B will shut a lot of bus company in California!! UMA Help stop this now!! I need to use my older buses to get me going again, but CARB will not let me reg. them!! HELP!!

01:05:24
I hope Lancer steps up like RLI has and will waive their 30% Liability premium.

01:05:33
There will be a hall of fame and a hall of shame when this is over!

01:05:40
Think it's more the underwriters at this point, unfortunately.

01:05:43
THis is Matt Hotchkiss at WFEF. For customers that have equipment financing with WFEF we plan on reviewing the business environment after the intiial 90 day payment deferral to determine if more is needed.

01:05:47
Well help us ..Please!!

01:06:12
THANK YOU!

01:06:16
Thanks for hosting. This is great information.
