Do schools refer families to these organizations or do we let families know about these services? Is there a cost associated with the services?

01:06:22
Thanks for the q. @Pete. I’ve passed along to the speakers.

01:08:43
How do these organizations actually work with districts so that they learn / adopt / implement better practices?

01:08:56
Is the Connect Ed program exclusively for Washington, D. C. residents?

01:10:15
Hi Kwesi - this is Billy. Never mind my inquiry. I have been serving an entirely different community than the audience this call (thus far) is referencing. I will sit back and learn something new.

01:10:59
Great qs @Bill @Brenda. I’ve passed along to the speakers.

01:12:00
We are seeing more families that are experiencing homelessness

01:12:43
How are you supporting families who don't yet have IEPs or 504s, but need these? I'm concerned that not only are families with IEPs not getting the support they need... but you can't even get an IEP / 504 in many places right nor.

01:13:45
Hedy, you can plug the webinar with PIQE on 8/26

01:13:45
I don't feel ignored at all...SMILE. My prefer my name though which is BILLY, not Bill. I look forward to continued learning.....BILLY

From Gloria, PIQE : We develop a partnership wtih the district that enables us to provide training for district staff/school staff. And we encourage districts to support the skills devleopment of parents/families by investing in our approach to building assets and engagement.

01:28:03
Shoutout to Parent Teacher Home Visits! We do them every year and this year was no different. We did a virtual “welcome visit” for our incoming 6th graders and our rising 8th graders about the high school process through Zoom or phone call based on what parents preferred! We love visiting our families at home but we had to be safe this year.

01:29:08
From Gloria, PIQE: We work with schools and districts and we serve approximately 18,000 a year. The services are free for families and resources are on our website: piqe.org
