The are a wealth of resources on telehealth for SLP on a number of websites. Speech Pathology Australia has webinars available. Also the CRE Aphasia at La Trobe has collated a range of resources in a number of languages. https://www.latrobe.edu.au/research/centres/health/aphasia/resources click on the excel file and have a look through. Then the Stroke Foundation Inform Me website has lots of Telehealth resources for stroke rehab.
eHAB is a telehealth platform that has been developed for rehab. Measurement tools for physio, beyond bandwidth video and audio recording, media tools. Check out NeoRehab.com
Unfortunately you can't have multiple people on a Coviu video call and share video audio. But security is good and lots of other great features...
In our Local Health District in NSW we have to use Skype for Business.
eHAB allows for up to 6 sites in a group call. Whiteboard, media tools, audio and video recording, secure system. NeoRehab.com

Rather than relying on third party programs for video chat, many of which are not secure, MyHealth1st is offering an end-to-end encrypted in-browser telehealth service that requires no additional programs or apps to be downloaded and run.- Fully Encrypted (end to end)- Integrated with your PMS- Easy to Use (both patient and practitioner)- Add up to 2 additional attendees to the consultation. I.e. Translater, Career, Family Member.- Capabilities to share screens, drawn, send/receive documents, add another camera.Would be more than happy to disguss this offline. Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org

We use telehealth RESeCare in Residential aged care facilities for geriatricians, residents and families really appreciate this service. Just odd patients (particularly with advance dementia) that at the beginning find it confusing but experience gets better with frequency of the telehealth consults.
Khera I am interested in the RESeCare can you email me at email@example.com
Telehealth has the capacity to empower our clients in their health and rehab.
Hi Carol. Here is the link: http://www.resecare.com.au/
I'll email you further info shortly.
Working in outpatient neuro rehab physio. We have started routinely asking all patients to have a second person handy to provide standby assistance, or potentially just camera help (e.g., assessing ankle range of motion is a pain with the patient holding the camera).Unfortunately in the current climate our (often CALD + low-SES) patient population is even more socially isolated than usual, so many don't have that help available.
Aaron, how do psychologists assess risk, deal with suicidal ideation in telehealth consults?
I am thinking that the use of telehealth may reduce the power imbalance that exists between clinicians and clients, creating a more collaborative therapeutic environment. The clients are in their own comfortable environment, may have more confidence to ask questions, to open up more readily, and they and can switch off easily. Any thoughts?

An example of SLP student placement via telehealth clinic https://coh.centre.uq.edu.au/health-e-regions-phase-5
Coviu have an integration with ResApp which allows for spirometry testing
Lots of universities are now doing their clinical placements via telehealth. UQ has a student led telerehab clinic: https://health-clinics.uq.edu.au/services/telerehabilitation
Can we have access to the session’s recording, q&A and chat transcripts?
Are other clinicians doing monitoring of COVID-19 symptoms during telehealth sessions as part of ensuring client safety?
I really think that remote monitoring or asynchronous telehealth will be the next big area to push in telehealth in allied health disciplines

This has been a wonderful webinar - thank you for organizing. I have to jump off now, but hope that the attendees can access the chat with the links provided within. Stay safe all and GO Telehealth!
as an ABI OT, could I use Coviu as a platform in a WA health hospital-both for individual outpatient sessions and education groups with 6-7 participants and being able to share powerpoint slides
I found a couple of telehealth remote monitoring devices but most are either needs to be purchased by patients or subscriptions. Some are not cheap. I haven't personally use them but visited their websites thought it was worth sharing. https://currenthealth.com/remote-patient-monitoring-reimbursementhttps://evisit.com/private-practice-clinics/https://www.ehomecare.com.au/engagehttps://www.philips.com.au/healthcare/product/HC453564553051/ecarecompanion-patient-app-your-patients-gateway-to-carehttps://www.vitlsinc.com/https://www.neteera.com/https://www.cu-bx.com/

Thank you to all - new ideas generated have been appreciated. Signing out Hope
Michelle, or any others, do you also work telehealth wise with older adults in the community in addition to residential care?
Thank you for this wonderful webinar - it’s wonderful to see telehealth being the silver lining of this pandemic
Hi Jane, prior to the COVID, telehealth particularly for geriatrician was a barrier, they can't be reimbursed through MBS due to the requirement that they either need to be in rural or remote or admitted in the RAC. From knowledge, metro south health in QLD have set up telehealth service for older people in community
Do you agree to patient recording sessions if they ask?
This was a very interesting webinar. thankyou for all the ideas shared.
What is your vision for telehealth moving forward? Do you foresee the majority of service delivery being via telehealth in future assuming COVID is no longer a barrier?
Many thanks Khera, do you have any additional contacts, resources I could follow up with re metro south QLD , I'm an OT and VERY keen to follow up where possible?
HCF for example doesn't support private PT telehealth
Hi Jane, I can share other resources, you can email me on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for a very informative session. Much appreciated
Aaron do you see groups in addition to 1:1?
Thank you- excellent webinar
Hi, I’ve been doing 100% Telehealth paediatric OT for nearly a year (and in person 9 years prior to that), and telehealth consultancy. I noticed that therapists double their confidence using telehealth if they see telehealth in action, so I’ve put a few quick Telehealth OT video simulations together with the help of my kids, if anyone wants to check them out. I expect that I will add more with time. youtube.com/channel/UCyhMMc_PXapQZxYpCp7NACg
NDIS has supported full fees via telehealth for a long time
Wonderful, informative session. Every moment is learning. Excellent webinar.
I charge for between session intervention that is not over videoconference
