See the ever-expanding artist roster and full program details for Curbside Culture at www.PeakRadar.com/CurbsideCulture. Performers interested in joining the roster will also find there an application packet. Organizations who want to help us promote this program can grab imagery and ads from the free toolkit on the website, as well. Thanks for helping us grow this important support for local performance!

Great concept!!! Thank you!

If my block is interested in having a little concert, might we be able to block off our street so we could set up a tent for the artists to play? Would the Cultural office be able to assist with that or do we have to get separate permission for that?

Hi, Michelle - thanks for your question. The Cultural Office provides promotion for the performers kind of like a booking agency, but production is all arranged independently and with the artists directly. To create something that can truly scale to be transformative and geographically broad, we can't get deep into individual events like that. Hope you understand … :)
Michelle Hair

Got it - thank you!

Sandy here - Is it possible to have local artist works available for merchandise purchase for Arts Month?
Cultural Office
49:03
The Arts Month theme weeks are: Oct. 5 - Visual + Culinary Arts, Oct. 12 - Theatre + Film, Oct. 19 - Poetry + Prose + Comedy, Oct. 26 - Music + Dance.
Daisy McGowan
49:44
thanks for writing that out, couldn't take notes fast enough!
Cultural Office

Sandy, we haven't been able to mount something like that that could scale, but we do work to promote galleries, markets, cooperatives, and other networks that sell local art. This year, we'll also have the new marketplace through My Black Colorado! So we'll support that indirectly. Good idea!
Cultural Office
52:12
Jordan, we have some folks with those specialities featured in our Artist of the Day series across genres, esp. Visual Arts and Theatre.
Cultural Office
53:10
There are always things that don't fall tidily into the themes but we don't overlook them - for example, aerial arts and circus arts have always been represented in Theatre Arts or Dance weeks.
Cultural Office
57:36
We hope these collaborations spark your thinking about what to do during Arts Month! Just list your creative event during October on PeakRadar.com and we'll include it in Arts Month!
