Thanks Eliot. As a FCC System administrator with 80 affiliated FCC providers/small business owners outside of Boston, it is refreshing to know that folks like yourself understand the needs and value of these home based programs.

01:04:47

01:11:09
Bevin - would be helpful to learn how your priorities changed in the first week, as you mentioned, as a roadmap for others.

01:11:57
We're seeing a need for flexible re-start funding to assist providers in re-opening

01:15:04
Please talk about how you balance the need for due diligence with the desire to reduce administration/application lift for providers

01:18:09
Echoing @sroth’s question. Will this presentation be available after the call?

01:18:46
We will make the recording of the session available after the call

01:23:40
Do you plan to provide any financial support for intermediaries as part of the grants?

01:24:29
This is so refreshing! Thank you for supporting Family Childcare Professionals!

01:25:58
There is overwhelming need everywhere. We have spoken with partner orgs in our state who also plan to apply for this grant opportunity. Can we each apply? Should we address in our applications how we will reach different needs in communities?

01:27:36
If our target population for the Fund is unlicensed FFN, do we still need to fund licensed providers as well?

01:28:08
So organization from around the nation can apply or is this limited to certain states/areas in the U.S.?

01:30:29
A few questions. 1. Are there limitations on what exactly a provider can use the funds for with regards to keeping their program up and running or do they have the flexibility to choose whether it’s used for supplies, insurance, housing costs, etc? 2. Can the funds be used to support new supply of programs or is it only available to help support and sustain existing programs? Knowing that many ECE workers have been furloughed from centers and opening a new program could be a great new career trajectory that supports both workforce and the community. 3. Would the funds be able to be used for tuition support for families that don’t qualify for subsidy or have a short-term financial support need?

01:34:06
can this fund be used to support family child care providers who close during this pandemic time or it has to be used to support providers who remain open now?

01:34:09
can this fund be used to support family child care providers who close during this pandemic time or it has to be used to support providers who remain open now?

01:37:40
What is the long term thinking on emergency funds? Is it a one time application opportunity? Sorry if I missed that!

01:38:24
thank you for responding to the unlicensed FFN target. we serve both licensed and unlicensed providers, but identified the unlicensed FFN because they are the hardest to reach and do not qualify for unemployment and will not receive chilcare fees from the

01:38:33
Do you have a list of funds that have already been created, like PEFSEE, to see if there are local efforts funders can support directly?

01:39:01
You may submit more questions to info@homegrownchildcare.org

Thank you, very informative

01:40:01
Will the grants require any technical assistance to providers or to think about forming an ongoing network be providers?

01:40:06
