Do you have suggestions for asynchronius or "canned" video content or webinars that you could recommend for organizations that might not have enough staff to operate live?

We have an affiliation for white label webinars with PBC Guru. They have an alumni consortium that is very reasonably priced.
Elizabeth R. Geraghty
38:20
I'm using that too-- both webinars and book club. We also use peoplegrove as an online mentoring service

We also started something called TerpsSupportingTerps to see what webinars, podcasts, virtual programs our alumni are offering and trying to highlight specific opportunities ie. virtual workouts, webinars etc.

Hi! This is Stacie Jeffirs from Saint Mary's College's career center. We sent a survey to alumnae (and friends of the College) to find out who would like to help during this time (i.e., companies hiring, networking, offering industry insights, etc.). We got a great response! We are sifting the data and going to build online sessions to engage those who want to help. We have always had an amazing alumnae network, but I have looked at those who completed the survey as our "first responders" and it's great to have this list! :)

We did a survey sent out to our alumni asking what their greatest challenges are right now, what content is resonating with them and what kinds of virtual events they would like to see. So much of our university messaging was asking to help students so we wanted to make sure alumni knew we are here to support THEM too.

Hi, Anna! I think I missed what institution you are from. Could you repeat this? Thank you!

We are using the situation to inject some life into our alumni association group on Linked In. We are also working to increase our engagement through AlumniFire, the low cost mentoring platform. Bryant U

We just launched an online book club with PBC Guru this past October. According to stats provided by PBC Guru, on average, 60% of folks that participate in the online book club have never been engaged with the college before. I don't have exact statistics at Springfield College at this point, but we definitely have a good number of participants who have never been engaged with the college. At last check we had representation from almost 30 states (I initially didn't think it would be this far reaching being we are a small, mostly regional institution.)

What messages are you giving to job seeking alumni about what they can & should be doing now? Is it wise to keep applying to open positions now? Or should emphasis just be on networking?

2 of our ACSN corporate partners have offered great opportunities to our members. Graduway is offering free use of their business platform for our alumni to market their own businesses. Reinvent, Recharge is offering each institution 10 full scholarships for their online career change program for women (total 100 max) that starts 4/30. More info on both will be in next week's ACSN newsletter. Reach out to me at chyman@du.edu for more info.
