RE economic shifts - depends on the type of business and the community - if there are a lot of C19 cases, these communities may be low traffic for longer. There will be a “disaster economy” created where growth emerges among sectors responding or providing solutions, may mask underlying weakness of “normal economy” - I should probably do a whole presentation about this at some point

Much of the early challenges for small business and gig workers this year also has to do with AB5. There are many more opportunities right now for independent contractors under the current situation that many CA folks can't access because of the recent changes to this law. Since the Mayor has asked Landlords to have a heart about collecting rent. While I'm deferring rent and possibly waiving rent for April, what is the County doing about Property Taxes. Last time, I checked, the County of LA is not making any exceptions and forcing all Landlords to pay taxes or pay a penalty. The County should offer a deferral program as commercial loan payments are coming due. Please advise.
