55:36
Will DD clients and their care providers receive priority status on any development

55:55
ive he that if a person with a disabiblity would not get the same preference as some one with out?

56:26
What is being done to recruit and retain people who are out of work to come be IPs?

56:30
Will DD clients and their care providers receive priority status on any developed inoculation or antibody therapy?

56:42
Oregon is doing something like this and we are checking in to it. Not sure what providers exactly but we are aware and exploring it.

56:44
What is being done to get IPs PPE?

58:22
What I’ve heard is that all families are concerned about either themselves in the hospital and not able to care for their loved one or being able to be with their loved one

01:00:06
Take care everyone- we will get answers to your questions. I gotta run to the jIC

01:00:30
What would be helpful to our direct DD population to help families deal with the school closures, what can we do at home to help our community.

01:01:02
What work is being done to ensure students, especially students in transition continue to receive education supports. I understand that not all services can be provided, but my biggest concern is DeVos trying to waive IDEA, which would allow schools to not provide services.

01:01:20
Will unemployment benefits (state or federal) affect eligibility for services such as employment?

01:01:48
We have a SL client who wants to travel to the west side without staff. There is a concern in our agency that the client will not observe the social distancing guidelines and could expose staff and other clients to Covid once they return home. We are caught between clients rights and the governors proclamation. Can we restrict clients non essential visits in a SL setting?

01:03:04
id hate to delay it further, so I’m not sure what to do: A sibling sent in his IP application to get certified for his sister. He forgot to send in the Background Check paper. should he just send it to the address on form or should he wait for his “incomplete” application to come back home & then send it all at once.

01:05:34
I work for a nonprofit that is doing meal service to vulnerable populations. Are there DD communiites that need meals?

01:05:52

01:07:00
Are they factoring in disability as they prioritize care for people with COVID in hospitals?

01:08:19
Region 1 has been very responsive....THANK YOU!!!!

01:09:07
what about re-evaluation that is due in june for continuing services

01:09:14
DDA

01:14:11
One issue we are experiencing is that because DDA is not allowing for Zoom meetings, the communication is being placed on providers to be the hub. Does DDA not have the capability to have conference calls as many providers do not have access to conference call hubs?

01:15:17
Sorry, to add to that is that some agencies have paid the extra money to have the zoom meetings secured, but DDA is not allowing for it's use.

01:16:36
How about timelines on submitting Audit corrective action plans?

01:16:46
Can we please let everyone know to complete the Census and that it will help with additional services in the future

01:18:23
Zoom for Healthcare

01:19:04
We are working with our IT to fully implement Zoom in our services. More to come.

01:21:02
Can you show the previous slide again on websites with available resources?

01:21:23
We will definitely show the Where to Find Information slide at the end

01:21:37
I will also drop the links into this chat at the end of the Presentation

01:21:49
Please make sure you are muted. The music or TV in the background makes it hard to hear speaking

01:21:57
We will also leave the Chat open for 5 minute after the meeting so you can send in last minute questions and say Hello to each other

01:22:55
Remind folks to mute. Cannot hear Lorna

Not sure if this has been addressed already, but has there been info put out about “hazard pay” for IPs? since client needs do not go away during a crisis and we are still supporting our people often times without adequate PPE, info on this would be helpful.

01:28:02
Thank you, Sima and thanks to the Arc of Spokane for doing so much to help in this crisis.

This is Justin from DDA. I can only speak for DDA but security and HIPAA considerations must be evaluated when considering which Zoom licenses to purchase. Zoom for Healthcare is the most secure license.
