I'm working with the Great Lakes Environmental Center, Inc. (GLEC) to see if they can analyze "CLMP" TP and Chlorophyll a samples. Let me know if you are interested in continuing your 2020 TP and Chlorophyll a sampling if you have collected these parameters under the CLMP in the past and are trained and have the equipment to collect these samples.

01:03:40
Note that MLSA also has a list of laboratories that have already offered to analyze Total Phosphorus and Chlorophyll-a samples from individuals this year. The list includes contact information and pricing.https://mymlsa.org/2020-volunteer-lake-monitoring-for-michigan/

01:04:23
is the vertical line all the collections in that year and the blue dot the average?

01:04:58
@Debbie - generally, yes.

01:08:16
Technically, the vertical bars are "standard deviation", gives you a sense of how much each measurement varies from the average. Long bars means the individual readings were quite variable; short bars mean the individual readings were all close to the average.

01:08:56
Why are measurements taken at deepest part of lake?

01:10:12
Will this ppt be available?

01:11:02
Oh boy is anyone else getting interruptions in what Erick is saying??

01:11:23
yes.

01:14:56
When the CLMP was established we wanted to select a location that could be found and sampled year after year. The deepest basin was selected. The samples and measurements at the deep basin are collected to represent the whole lake in the CLMP.

01:23:08
Are you considering developing a phone app for recording and reporting data while in the field?

01:30:03
both invasive and non-invasive plant photos

01:35:53
is once a month JUne, July, Aug the recommended frequency?

01:37:46
what month is starry stonewart most easy to identify

01:39:23
Will you include parrot feather in the future?

01:42:45
is the hybrid as invasive?

02:02:24
what is the adverse impact of FrogBit?

02:06:33
Does hydrilla grow to the surface? How deep?

02:08:12
Thank you Jo and Erick!

02:08:25
All aquatic macrophytes that flower grow to the surface, at least a part of the plant, to get the flower out of the water.
