Did we get any update on what Comcast and telecommunication companies are willing to do. Hotspots would be helpful, but we were told $150

12:54
Is there any talk about relaxing the data privacy law and app approval during this time? I don't believe that Zoom is approved and yet many people are using it.

13:27
where can we access the meeting recordings?

13:58
Past calls are here: https://www.education.nh.gov/who-we-are/commissioner/covid-19

14:32
We have put into the Food Service office a waiver we have not received anything back. We were expected it to come out much faster than it is.

15:24
Food service questions- email Cheri.White@doe.nh.gov

16:56
We have been running our remote learning program with students since Monday. As the schools in NH are technically closed, should we not enter/record official attendance for this week to be consistent?

17:23
As for Khan Academy I'm hearing that folks cannot get a signed DPA for a district in NH to use this application.

18:00
We will be posting sample consent form here shortly: https://www.education.nh.gov/who-we-are/division-of-educator-and-analytic-resources/bureau-of-educational-opportunities/public-school-approval-office/remote-instruction

18:51

We are being informed by a sending district that they will only reimburse for SPED Instructors and not for our two Paraprofessionals. Our Paras will be supporting our students online in Google Meet in small group and individual settings as working with them to stay engaged, on task etc. We have informed our Paras that our students still need their support and we will continue to pay them to provide that support online to every extend possible. Is there any guidance from DOE on this issue?

21:12
Please clarify - are special education timelines lifted or waived? I've heard missed messages.

21:22
Does the emergency board meeting allowance for teleconferencing also be allowed for regular scheduled board meetings.

23:06
Yes, Chair can waive quorom by declaring an emergency. See memo for more detailed guidance.

24:43
How do we conduct regular board business during this state of emergency without bringing our board (physically) together?

Any guidance on taking attendance for the remote learning?

34:20
Considering the new site, can the DOE please post all Covid-19 and Remote Learning information in one place on the homepage? It will be much easier than looking in various pages.

34:55
Please a yes or no are special education timelines lifted or waived? I've heard missed messages.

Told if parent owes the company money, the families cannot get the service

35:23

35:45
We ARE being asked to pay to 'hold their seats' even if they are closed

36:50
Is there a health or safety concern about paper assignments being handed to students in a folder and the students returning assignments via bus delivery?

36:55
Thank you.

37:07
How many people are recommended to meet together? 50 or 10?

37:13
10

37:20
from CDC anyway

37:47
Can a letter from the commissioner for reimbursement for a cancelled fieldtrip apply to a private school?

37:54
I know there are likely other charter schools on this call. Is there any chance that you can waive the requirement for an outside ‘Lottery Official’ like if we live streamed it, could that be an ‘emergency’ adjustment. We do need to move forward with the timeline or it will quickly begin to impact us and families for next year…

38:02
I think the commissioner mentioned 50 earlier in regards to board meetings.

38:11
Ah

38:21
We have many evaluations that are in process for special education. Without being able to work directly with the student to complete the evaluation how would I be able to comply with timelines?

38:23
We are adhering to 10 in our district

38:32
When will a decision be made on canceling statewide testing for 2020? Texas and Florida (at least) have already made that determination.

39:33
Where are resources (like AG's guidance) located on the DOE website? Can that be emailed to us?

40:07
Given the situation we are in right now, do you have any idea if this is going to be extended beyond the 2 weeks? This has been an extensive amount of planning and it would be great to be able to work over the next 2 weeks on plans if needed.

40:27

42:10

42:36
but is Kahn willing to sign it?

42:48
Khan academy will not sign the DPA for anyone in NH

43:00
Summer Food Service Program does not allow for "Grab-and-Go" requiring students to eat onsite. We needed a waiver to allow pick-up and delivery.

43:03
Which means it does not comply with HB1612

43:22
Various federal agencies and the administration are recommending against meetings of 10-50 people for the next 8+ weeks. Does this mean that schools will likely be working remotely for the next 8 weeks as well?

45:13
California announced today that it is unlikely students will return before summer break. Should we begin prepping our communities toward that possibility?

45:14
If we have launched our remote learning program this week, can our days this week make up snow days called earlier this year and are days closed last week that we were preparing for remote learning be counted?

45:27
Thank you, just being overly cautious young people might not show symptoms

45:40

46:06

46:35
Can our Board meetings be held virtually without holding a public location?

47:21

48:02

49:38
for private providers

49:44
yes

51:46
Thank you for following up with DHHS.

52:44
sorry 80% participation in remote learning - I thought the 80% requirement was taken out

53:42
thank you

59:41
Thanks for all that everyone at the state is doing.

59:59
It is only week one, we will figure out more as we go.
