Susan Ison
50:03

melissa@birdandjim.com
50:22

50:37

I sent an employee to get tested today , They won't test him? He's at home now what?
Susan Ison
51:04
Will square footage guidelines be provided?
Glenn
52:44
I feel like we should take a bold step in requesting to open with no restrictions, allow business and patrons to decide how they want to do business and where we want to patronize. The numbers have proven to be no more deadly than other viruses that have come along including the flu. Why are we committing economic suicide and giving up our rights?
Katie O'Donnell
52:50
Testing is done free through the community testing, but you do have to preregistered. you can do that at larimer.org/community-testing
kevin
54:22
What about Churches?
Bruce
55:19
yes what about churches?
Eric J Lund

01:00:26
Are there any procedures for modifying this variance as circumstances change? What is LDDHE's thoughts if the State comes out with different (specifically lesser) standards for businesses - say the State moves to 50% indoor restaurant seating?
Greg Woods
01:00:26
what about swimming pools in private HOA’s
Museum Coordinator
01:00:50
we are not at the 1 or less RO factor? where are we at regarding R0 factor?

01:00:50
Museums. That was not answered.
Annie Vest
01:01:03
A local Estes Park resident will be on 9 news at 4pm today, tomorrow, and Friday. She was working in different nursing homes Sunday, Monday and yesterday and six workers without masks were observed along with two nurses. This is just an FYI! This is a nursing home but this is how things get spread!
Julie
01:01:17
When will restaurant patios open?
Museum Coordinator
01:01:33
what about HVAC systems such as AC if airborne?
James Yearling - DBA
01:01:55
Can the County contribute toward protecting businesses (re: Legal/Liability) if a patron/customer pursues action and claims that COVID-19 was contracted within a business? Or, is this up to Congress to enact legislative action under duty of care, or similar? Thank you for hosting today!
Ken Draves
01:01:57
Tom, will you please share a link to the new CDC announcement regarding spread via surfaces? Highly relevant to our circumstances at the public library.
Susan Ison
01:02:09
"Register attendees" in your variance means that we have to record every visitor. Am I interpreting this correctly?
melissa@birdandjim.com
01:02:32
What areas were you pushing the envelop on?
Hamilton Birdsall
01:02:52
When can we see gathering sizes go from 10 individuals up to 50 people and larger?
Dave Clark
01:03:25
Your variance #1 includes a max number of people at 50. I assume this does not apply to Variance #4 and #9 (Restaurants & Theaters) which include their own restrictions. Is this correct?
steve taylor
01:03:38
please explain science behind 30% seating
Robin
01:03:43

Susan Ison
01:04:12

Tiffany Degnan - Brookside
01:05:15

Kyle - RMA
01:06:12
Are these available test active swab test or also antibody test?
European -John-HEATHER-KEAVY
01:06:22
Where is the testing on Friday?
kevin
01:08:42
You stated that it's a very deadly virus. What is the current population of Larimer County and what are the real number of deaths?
Horse&Dragon-TimCo
01:08:43
The variance indicates restaurants, etc would be allowed to apply for up to 60% occupancy with expanded outdoor seating (adhering to distancing, masks, etc). Can we apply now prior to acceptance by the state?
Casey Muller
01:09:20
This variance is very limiting towards weddings and special events. Requiring a venue to submit a plan to keep people 6 ft apart is not a realistic expectation in order for these venues to open and weddings to take place. This will cause many wedding venues to close. Will this be re-evaluate to something that works for the industry and helps wedding venues open in a safe and realistic way so they can actually perform business this year?
Glenn
01:09:25
Those tactics are unconstitutional
MacKenzie Smith
01:09:47
is the temp hospital built at The Ranch online and for how long?
julie
01:10:43
What about wedding venues - with outdoor event space
Hamilton Jo
01:11:10
What is the guidance for a lodge type venue that hosts groups up to 50 in 10 separate bedrooms in bunk beds? Groups book the entire facility and include retreats
melissa@birdandjim.com
01:12:38
Any consideration on restaurants matching increase lodging % in Estes Park
Rollin Goering
01:15:42
It appears the paperwork addresses GYMS, but does not address dance studios, yoga studios, karate facilities specifically. Will there be some clarification for those smaller studios (not quite gyms)?
Jeff Jensen
01:18:39
private pools?
Jeff Jensen
01:18:50
HOA pools?
John Kefalas
01:20:02
How realistic is it that we could implement these proposed changes by June 1 - the variances that are approved?
LCDHE
01:21:35
There are many articles that reference the CDC advisory that COVID-19 doesn't spread easily on surfaces. Here is one:https://nypost.com/2020/05/20/cdc-now-says-coronavirus-does-not-spread-easily-on-surfaces/
MacKenzie Smith
01:23:04
How do businesses with multiple aspects under one roof (restaurant, hotel, museum) comply if the occupancy requirements differ?
Museum Coordinator
01:24:17
so everyone signs in when they visit a business with name and phone/email? For contact tracing?
Matthew Heiser
01:26:33
For restaurant seating indoor or outdoor, if the business is able to construct solid screening to separate groups at a singular table or between tables. Could that work as a substitute to the 6' table spacing.
Jeff Willy
01:26:42
Will other indoor recreation activities like family entertainment centers be able to reopen with restrictions similar to bowling and theaters?
matt hoeven
01:27:16
If 30% of capacity is greater than 50, will a business be able to serve more than 50.
Ty Fulcher
01:35:17
The requirement for reservations for restaurants and bars does not make sense for many businesses and is not something that can simply be implemented. What is the reasoning that there can not be 6ft spacing in a "line" type format like is being allowed at Home Depot, Trader Joes, etc. Are they going to have to stop the social distancing style line as well?
abby hussey
01:35:42
Same question regarding indoor family entertainment facilities. Implementing reservations systems, social distancing, restricted capacity, proper PPE, etc- will the category be gym? bowling alleys? Thank you!
Glenn
01:35:51
I guess Im really confused why this is still considered a "pandemic" as it did not pan out to be anywhere near even the best case predicted scenarios. Hospitals never saw the overload expected. Recovery rate is extremely high. This is all ridiculous given the data we now have. Are we going to do this everytime a new potential virus comes along?
Horse&Dragon-TimCo
01:38:21
Adam - nailed it. Timing of processing any applications that include checklists and operational plans. We have a plan, I’d like to submit it - obviously waiting for the “go” - but to get it processed.
City Star - Whitney
01:38:41
Upon approval of variance are you expecting businesses to submit a “checklist” or application to the county in order to open?
Sabrina
01:39:31
I understand that this meeting is for variance, but when will employers get guidance on some of the issues we are facing each day in terms of quarantining people who have traveled; when to notify staff of 'potential' exposure, etc.?
Maria Tschetter
01:40:51
Can you clarify the face coverings and when they are required?
687040
01:41:01
What is being done to focus on Elder care facilities (Nursing homes & Assisted living…)? If we control these well, it will make a huge difference in the risk to the health care system.
Sabrina
01:41:06
Is there a resource or contact for employers to get timely answers on employer/employee related questions?
Annie Vest
01:43:37
Will VRBO'S be allowed to open on May 26th or will a new ordinance have to be written? Asking for a friend. She also is confused as to why VRBOS are being delayed in opening?
Glenn
01:43:54
My grandmother who is 90 in a nursing home had her roommate come down with COVID. She didn't catch it and the elderly roommate recovered fully.
City Star - Whitney

Thank you! This was very helpful.
Glenn
01:45:06
I don't think these actions can take all the credit for suppression at the level it was suppressed. We have immune systems for a reason.
Horse&Dragon-TimCo
01:45:14
Thank you all for the work and continued communication. Much appreciated.
Robin
