At some point during this call can we get clarification on what the 18 weeks of required employment for UC means. What about individuals who have not worked for 18 weeks? Is there any relief for those individuals?
Could you please explain how health care benefits are covered during lay off period for someone collecting unemployment. What is the employer obligation? How do we make sure that our employees maintain coverage even while laid off?
What is the time frame for people who apply for unemployment benefits to actually start receiving funds

re: PTO-- if that is used ,the layoff doesn't begin until the PTO runs out. And compensation would begin with the actual layoff, not whee PTO starts.

The current CDC protocol says that if a worker tests positive at a life sustaining business, that they should stay home in quarantine. It does not say that the business has to shut down. What is the legal recommendation as you see it for the rest of the workers at the facility?

Cases have always been kicked out, and the Livny case is the one that set that up.

Just FYI Squirrel Hill Health Center is having only minimal staff at work and using cohorts that always work together to minimize effect if someone is exposed. Don't know if this can be done in other essential workplaces.
Regarding FFCRA, important to note here that employers with less than 50 EE’s may be exempt from these requirements. I think we’ll get more guidance from the DOL about waiver eligibility at/immediately prior to enactment on April 1st
