53:30
What is the website Taylor recommended for purchasing ZOOM at a discounted price?

54:00
Zoom was really helpful for my older congregation since some could login, others could call via phone

57:23
So Zoom is free if used in computer but not via phone?

57:25
I don't think small groups must to be focused around physical proximity. We are organizing smaller groups based on activities/friend groups which already exist. We're calling them Check In Groups and I'm asking one person to check in with all the members of each group at least weekly to keep track of concerns, prayers, updates, etc.

57:39
For a small congregation, has anyone used the phone as the connection for worship?

59:13
DS Brian suggested something about automated phone bank calls for prayer hear messages from their own Pastor's voice (something like we receive calls from schools)

59:43
This might be a good resource for phone conferencing https://www.freeconferencecall.com/

59:58
need more info on that though

01:00:14
thanks

01:03:40
As laity, thanks you!!!

I got disconnected earlier so pl say again-Zoom is free if used in computer but not via phone?

01:11:33
From the Zoom website: A Participant is an invitee in a meeting scheduled by someone with a Host license. Participants can join your meeting for free from their phone, desktop, mobile and tablet devices. A participant does not require a Zoom account in order to join a meeting.

01:12:20
Ok. Thanks

01:12:57
The free Zoom account is for up to 100 participants but only for 40 minutes at a time.

01:13:25
for an unlimited times?

01:13:42
unlimited number of meetings

01:13:56
Great

01:15:10
The free Zoom account doesn't offer the option for participants to phone in at this time. You'll need the paid subscription if everyone doesn't have computer/smartphone capability.

01:15:40
Noted. Thanks

01:16:45
its really helpful thanks for your time and sharing resources

01:18:06
Yesterday we spoke of the shift from unison music to featuring individual performance so that we can highlight individual gifts and relate to the solo performer who is also alone at this time.

01:18:44
who can be a contact person, pastor or treasurer who has to give out the ss# number and BBday info, etc to register for paypal account?

01:19:37
I was looking at online options yesterday. Vanco offered some free resources, and the sample email/letter were helpful places to start.

01:20:21
Millenials in my congregation said Zelle

01:20:24
You cannot deposit venmo funds into a business checking account. Just FYI.

01:20:40
Venmo is for personal transfers

01:21:11
Tithely

01:21:58
The best way is to send monthly offerings in just one snail mail easier for receving person and for the person who mails it.

01:22:23
Many small banks are not connected to Zelle (I can't receive money via Zelle because my bank won't receive it

01:22:41
We use Breeze's integration online giving through Stripe, which auto-codes donor donations to their profiles inside of Breeze, which is a church database.

01:22:44
There’s a webinar tonight at 6:30pm CST that might be helpful with online giving https://www.umcdiscipleship.org/articles/electronic-recurring-giving?mc_cid=e63cce6f07&mc_eid=731a23e363

Get a CCLI streaming license, which covers streaming of all music in their catalog on Facebook Live

01:24:06
Are we good if we are playing music from the hymnal online?

01:25:13
I thought UMPH gave permission a couple of days ago

01:25:14
But you cannot preemptively tell Facebook you have a CCLI streaming license. If they take down your video, then you can tell them
