What's an example of advocacy and system change?
Ruth Davy @ HELP
Keith, my understanding is that if your advocacy is in pursuit of charitable purpose then it's okay. But I'm not a charities law specialist and would welcome other views. It's been a confusing topic in recent years. We need advocacy!
Agree with Sue
Sorry, I should have mentioned the question before replying - a question around whether pure advocacy is considered a charitable purpose in the eyes of the law.
Hi Keith. Sorry I mentioned your name in my response, as I missed it was just to panelists. I think I need more coffee. I hope that was okay!
Can you please tell me who the Auckland branch manager is?
Do you include resource $ allocation for evaluation and impact for each application ? Or is the organisation applying expected to support this out of their organisational costs?
Lots of questions and happy that PG just manage the questions in the chat and also the Q&A through to 11am. Kirsten, just hand back to me when you're done. If in advance of 11am that's fine too - but just no later. If you could acknowledge you've seen this message that would be grand :-)
Do you include round table applications and reporting?
Emily, I will put questions to you unless I see you just rolling with them. :-)
Liz is a bit hard to hear at times. So she needs to stay close to the computer....
Time for Emily now! So I'll jump in when I can. Please mute Kate and the team
Thanks PG and Tanya - that was GREAT :-)
Thanks Kirsten for keeping up with the questions - you're a dream :-)

HI all, PG is back in via Liz Gibbs
Do you mean if you have funds on your balance sheet, but aren't using them towards the proposed project?
If so, we like to understand why the entity has chosen not to invest in themselves
