Is it possible to take the Accuplacer remote
TaRael Kee
33:31
I believe it is possible to take the math portion of the Accuplacer remotely but typically for the reading and writing portion...our reps have to log in. I wonder if that has changed with Covid?
TaRael Kee

Erika at STLCC FloValley told my students that there is an option to take it virtually but will cost $20. They were trying to work out a free option. Haven’t heard about St. Charles CC

If there is a GPA requirement for test optional, can you please specify if the GPA is weighted, unweighted, or doesn’t matter?
Brooke Lockhart
43:47
At Southeast we take the highest cumulative GPA that is on the official transcript.
Teresa Haney
44:36
At Missouri State we are test option for students above a 3.25. We will take the higher GPA of weighted or unweighted to benefit students for admission and/or scholarship purposes. We are still deciding about Test Optional for Fall 21 and beyond. I anticipate we will go with the 3.25 level if we adopt a permanent Test Optional policy. We hope to have a final decision made by July 1.
Drew Griffin
45:51
At UCM, we'll accept either the weighted or non-weighted, whichever benefits the student more.
Joanna Finch
46:35
At Webster University it does not matter weighted or not. We are officially moving to test optional next year, but started that early this year due to everything that has happened.
Dixie Williams
47:38
UMSL is looking at a 3.0 GPA for the test optional process for fall 2020, this is looking at core GPA.
Phillip Campbell
48:40
We use a multiple measure approach at STLCC, we review both weighted and unweighted but generally lean towards unweighted. We do not have a completely test-optional placement process, but review ACT/SAT, HS Gpa, Accuplacer (next gen and classic) holistically for reading, math, and English placement. We do not have a test requirement for admission.

For all of the institutions, has there been any discussion about how campus tours in the fall will be handled? Currently planning 2020-2021 and curious about how institutions are thinking about this. Thanks!
Brooke Lockhart
56:34
Southeast is currently planning to begin offering campus tours again mid-June with restrictions that allow us to follow Social Distancing guidelines. As soon as our plan is finalized, we will be sharing with everyone!
Elora Thomas
56:42
UMKC is still in the planning stage regarding campus tours on campus. We do have virtual campus tours being offered right now.
Dixie Williams
57:42
UMSL is reviewing this based on guidelines related to gathers. We do have virtual Triton Led group tour options if we are unable in the fall to provide large group tours. We will keep everyone posted as we move forward. Of course social distancing will be observed as well as other safety measures.

We are resuming campus tours on June 8th. We are limiting to 10 people to start and will be outdoor only tours until at least July. We sent an email today to students who had a visit scheduled this spring that was cancelled when campus closed in March.

@Khadija - UCM is looking to bring back campus tours in mid-June. We will limit the number of students & guests who visit each day. We are moving to one session per day (rather than two). We will continue our virtual visit options and counselor 1-1's. Tours will be scaled back to outdoor only.

Also suggest helping them with their voicemail greetings or even setting up email. I called all the students that I worked with and many didn't have voicemail set up or if they did- they were very unprofessional greetings
